I just hope this gets "The Deep" re-released as a special edition. It is superior in every way.
Hmm, One has to wonder if Alba can only do one sexy pose. That is almost exactly like Sin City.
Nice Alba cover!
probably cheese but...
I wanted to see it....I'll be renting it for sure. Beautiful people in dangerous situations.....sounds like a fun popcorn movie to me.
Wow. I'm surprised. This had "Unrated Version" written all over it.
Serenity fans rejoice. At least we kicked this film's butt at the B.O.
For rent
I will rent it to see how it is, Jessica looks very well in the cover :D
I'll buy it just because of J.A.

It is a small victory. And what's this "we" stuff?
Anyway, I actually expected America to prefer this to Serenity and was pleasently surprised.
Honestly, if you want to stare at Alba's ass there are much cheaper ways to go about it than buying this flick.

Can't wait to see this movie. Love Jessica Alba! That cover is kinda cheesy looking though, I don't know, expected it to be more, well, blue.
INTO THE BLUE (2005)
I never saw this but I really wanted to for two big reason... Jessica Alba and treasure hunting in one movie! I love a good treasure hunting film and I do love to gaze at the beauty that is Ms. Alba. I will probably be buying this due to the nice cover and the a fair amount of bonus featrures.
Paul Walker is topless I really think to be fair Jessica Alba should be also :D

Wait for another three months.
There's no way they're not releasing an unrated version of this.

But regarding DVD sales and rentals "Into the Blue" is going to bury "Serenity".

I seriously doubt that. Just about everyone I know who wanted to see Serenity said they were going to wait for video.

I agree - look how well Firefly - the complete series sold on dvd....that's precisely the reason this movie was made!

I didn't see this, but will give it a rent. If you avert your eyes to the side shot of the box art, you will discover that familiar COLUMBIA PICTURES logo. It is a sure bet that they will release an Unrated Edition of this film sometime before May of 2006 and probably with a BLUE cover with a nifty clear plastic slip cover...
I thought they were going to release a Special Jessica Alba Edition with a commentary by her on her bad acting, and some featurettes that include Jessica Alba's butt, Jessica Alba's hair, Jessica Alba's swimwear, and a preview of Jessica Alba's next bad movie.
Not even the sexy Alba could help one of the worst movies ever made...
Oh, and since it's Columbia Pictures, I'm sure there'll be an Unrated Edition (they'll just use those deleted scenes and put 'em back in, like they did with xXx).

i wanted to see this in theatres but never got the chance, i thing this movie could have made big bucks 70mil+ if it had a earlier summer release date, oh well i will see this eventualy.
Well I thought the movie was just ok. Alba made it "just ok" at least. If she wasnt it in it would be terrible.
Terrible art. Alba actually looks amazing on the grayish-tinted poster, but nooooo, they had to go with crap again. I think I'll see it.
BTW, I don't think that release date is right. December 26 of this year is a Monday.
The art actually looks better than the movie.
Ick
The original poster was so much cooler than this. It looks like an ad for Nair.
Unrated?
Jeez...I remember back in the day when "Unrated" was mostly only slapped on horror films with nudity and gore intact, nowadays unrated means that they just add back in scenes that were cut for pacing during editing before even submitting it for rating. IMO the term "Unrated" should only be used when adding footage that wouldn't have made the cut with the MPAA.
On another note, I found this to be a good popcorn movie. Not too deep, just for entertainment. Not too many would deny the supremity of Miss Alba's derriere(and believe me, it should have gotten top billing), but I just can't wait to see this on my 61" DLP, the underwater footage was beautifully shot.
