Sure is! i would buy this but i already have the previous edition and its fine, and i'd rather watch the original when i go for it on the shelf anyways.
But that is an AWESOME cover!

One of the few times a remake has turned out not just good, but great--really creepy and atmospheric. Don't know about the other extras, but Kaufman's commentary is a good one so this might be worth another go around and should be an instant pickup for anybody that doesn't already own the previous disc.
In my opinion, this is one of three remakes that tower over the originals. The others being, The Thing, and The Fly. Donald Sutherland turns in an Oscar worthy performance and the movie has one of the most memorable endings ever made.
I really don't like the Able Ferrara version. Never picked this up, now I may have to. A really creepy film.
oh jesus! the artwork is like the artwork of House Of Wax,the remake mind you.

In my opinion, a very underrated film and definately need the warner- double dip treatment. The cover art for this release is very good, though like someone has mentioned, a little too much like HOUSE OF WAX.
I actually really liked the version from the 90's also
This movie creeped me out as a kid, DEFINITE buy. Cool artwork too.
LOVE this movie. The "special edition" isn't "special" enough for me to double dip though.
It's a good thing I don't care about special features, because I just bought this movie last week.
Awesome art, I don't have any version of this yet so maybe I'll get it.
The last version I got of this was non-anamorphic, which means picking this up is a definite yes.
No HD version, no buy.
Nothing above says it is anamorphic, but if it is, this is a must buy
I absolutely HATE the remake. I own it on VHS, might destroy it soon. Yes, I destroy painfully bad movies.

It'll be anamorphic. I totally forgot about the old disc being non-anamorphic, so yeah, I'll have to get this next time I get the urge to watch the movie again.

I loved the original and the '90s remake was a great re-imagining. I haven't seen this one so I'll definately buy. I heard bad things about the new reamke but I'll see it.

I'd add Ocean's 11 to that list.

Not to sound rude, but unless it was stated I never assume anything. I did check out The Digital Bits, and they said it will be anamorphic, which means this is a must buy. My pops can have my older disc, since he doesn't mind on the technical stuff.

I wasn't assuming anything in saying that it'll be anamorphic, I was making a statement of fact.
