talk about screwing over the dvd buyers. i'm all for pushing blu-ray and making it become the one and only format but damn, this is pretty harsh. its one thing to give blu-ray exclusive little featurettes and things but to omit a whole "making of" ? and if the last movie is any sign, it'll probably be a good 90mins to 2hrs long so its something substantial.
The covers look pretty badass, will definitly get the Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo.
Comes out the day before my birthday!! Well I already know what I'll be getting for my birthday... [*hint hint*] ;-)
Wasn't as good as I thought it was gonna be, but it was still a good sequel. I'll get it at Christmas
Awesome. Definitely first day purchase. This sequel was very satisfying. It sure didn't live up to the first film but it was still awesome. And the DVD and the digital copy is included on the Blu-Ray...YES!!!!! DAY 1 PURCHASE FOR ME!!!!!!!!
Not a very good follow-up. The original was much better. Won't be buying.
Not as fresh or original as the first but still a pretty good sequel. First day buy for me!
Solid sequel and the BR looks packed. So why is it that Jon Favreau recorded a commentary track for Part 2, but not Part 1?
Definitely not as good as the first movie. Rockwell was annoying as hell, and the villains weren't much of a threat. The action was pretty good (despite how little there was), but pretty much a case of style over substance. Hopefully that won't be the case with RDJ's other sequel, "Sherlock Holmes 2."

He actually did record a commentary for the first film, but for some reason Paramount didn't use it.
Initially, when I noticed that it wasn't on the first film, I figured maybe they were sitting on it until a double-dip in time for the sequel. That never happened, so I'm not sure why it has never surfaced.

a MUST HAVE buy for me!
definite first day Blu Ray purchase for me, hoping Best Buy or somewhere else has an exclusive edition with more extras/packaging, etc.
Such a disappointing follow-up to the excellent first film, and no fair that this one gets a commentary but the first didn't
Only movie I've cared enough about to actually see in the movie theater, this summer, so far. Inception will probably lure me back though. First-day buy, of course.

Day after my birthday. Let's celebrate together.

Yeh this sucked overall but micky rourke was bad ass. Is this the first time paramount is doing digital copy? Well one of the few, i just remembered star trek
I liked it, but the middle did drag.

Don't forget TOY STORY 3.

I'll def. pick up the bluray combo pack, but damn, the standard cover is much better. I love group covers when they're done right like that one. The only this missing from it is the War Machine armor. Oh well, you can't have your cake and eat it, too as the saying goes.
I wouldn't call this movie anywhere near bad, but I just thought it was somewhat forgettable. I haven't had an inkling of desire to go back and watch it a second time.

This was somewhat underwhelming, but I would say that overall it was moderate at best. ScarJo's action at the end was the best thing about the film. And yes, this was a let down in comparison to the first movie.
2 Disc set looks good. I dig them deleted scenes.
I thought Iron Man 2 was a great flick. Just barely not as great as the first. Awesome covers. I guess I will be buying the 2 disk. Hopefully it has the same cover as the blu-ray.
Sam Rockwell was annoying beyond tolerance. I get that they wanted an industry counterpoint to Stark, but he didn't have to be OD'ing on charisma to where it made the audience sick. There are good points in the movie, but there are also shortcomings. I think they packed a little too much into the film, making its pacing clunky, and the ending rather thin. Tony didn't have much of a personal beef with the villains. He just had to do the hero thing, and stop them from blow stuff up. Mickey Rourke was all right, but I think his role was diminished by Sam Rockwell's presence alone.
Was it bad enough to pass on the DVD? No, but it better be a cheaper price than usual for a diminished package. It's not that I don't want BluRay, but I don't have the equipment or money to buy it with. Not to mention, I've spent the last 10 years building up well over 400 titles on DVD. I'm not starting from scratch, again.

Me third. And not just cause of what she was wearing. Real action scenes done well will beat any CGI robot suit fight for me.

I 4got about the rockwell character, yeh that was a BIG problem for me. He was misdirected or something. That character should have been menacing. I thought the racetrak scene was the best scene. I was surprised by how boring this film was. Too many plots going on and favreau really doesnt need to cast himself in his own movies. He gave himself far too much screentime. Felt very smug

Still, it made enough money for Marvel, but clearly not enough to stop them from low-balling Ed Norton out of The Avengers.
