Sony doesn't do books.
Errr... Did you forget Silverado?

Even the title "Clash of the Titans" is awfully out of place. See, there's not a single Titan in "Titans" movies. Both Medusa & Kraken are not Titans that the gods fear, they're just monsters. Those movies made a dick out of Perseus.
Before that, there's the planned adaptation of the story of Theseus and the Minotaur by director Tarsem. It was originally named "War of the Gods", then they preferred to call it "Immortals", so it wouldn't look like a rip-off of "Clash of the Titans" or of the "God of War" video game series. It could be very good. If you have seen Tarsem's "The Fall" (and you definitely should...), you can expect a luscious and very distinctive style that still manages to give justice to the original myth. Of course, unless the producers have a different agenda.

A lot of Commentary tracks have people who were not involved in the acual film they are talking about, but because they know a lot about the film in question, or the film-making process, they are still very informative.

I love Jackson's commentaries. However I would much rather prefer him being on the same track as Harryhausen so he can ask the geek questions us fans all want to know.
It looks like they went with the standard DVD art only with the brightness way down and the title font changed. I can't wait to replace my old DVD with this. Jason is such an amazing film and the thought of Talos in full HD gives me goosebumps.

I'm not sure that Peter Jackson and Ray Harryhausen are on the same commentary. The specs suggest 2 commentaries.
I will buy this soon enough, since I remember enjoying the movie a lot. I need to pick up these movies so my kid can see them at the right age and be blown away by them as well!

YES! I have been wondering when this was going to be getting the HD treatment. Its about time!
I can't wait to hear Peter Jackson and Harryhausen together on a commentary!
I just wish 'Valley of Gwangi' and especially 'The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms' was under Sony and not Warner Bros. Warner Bros treats their Harryhausen films like c**p while Sony treats them like gold. Which is a shame because 'Beast' is one of my favorite Harryhausen films.

Yes....
Even if it means a second volume of the Ray Harryhausen collection is now unlikely (besides Jason and the first volume, there are three additional Columbia movies made by Harryhausen: The Three Worlds of Gulliver, Mysterious Island and First Men In The Moon), it will be a first day buy for me.
