Ultraviolet digital copy? Pass. Was interested until I read that.
Sweet God I can't wait to take that Ultraviolet and put it in the trash bin. For the blu-ray itself, I just can't wait to add it to my collection.

Why on Earth would the presence of the Ultraviolet copy put you off of the BD? It's in addition to, not in place of.

so they finally got the "shark is still working" doc? color me impressed. how many previous dvd releases were claiming to have it only for it to be dropped at the last minute. lol
i wonder if this means they'll also release the 3 sequels. i know 3 and 4 suck but i'd totally buy a complete collection if they made one. lol anyway its cool to have this coming up and be pretty damn loaded.
i do have to laugh at those comparison shots though, the movie NEVER looked that badly, not even in the days before dvd when it would play on tv. i dont doubt it'll look awesome and better than it ever did but using those is sorta tricksy hobbitses of them to do. lol
this movie has played on the HD channel here recently and it looked pretty damn good so i imagine the blu-ray should surpass that.

The Ultraviolet copy is optional. If you don't want the code, then don't add it to your computer or phone. Just buy the Blu-ray and quit your belly-aching, for crying out loud!

Jaws 2 and Jaws 3D are supposed to be released the same day. Most likely we should here something about those soon.

Pleeease Universal, don't go crazy with the DNR on this one. I beg you.
I'm expecting this to be one of the rare occasions where they don't. It's too important. I'm hoping more Gladiator reissue than Gladiator original!
I also agree with the others about the UV copy, that should never be a deal breaker. Who cares? Also i'm ready for ET
It doesn't come in a case made out of shark flesh.
Pass.

if i bought the Nightmare On Elm Street collection waaay back in 2000 knowing full well i'd be spending money to own Freddy's Dead....then i'd be a hypocrite to not do it with this franchise.

A 10 year old VHS, Pan & Scan copy of this never looked that bad.

Thank God, Universal, thank God, you're relasing the big guns on Blu-ray. Now, if you could go with amazing audio-video transfers and do the same as Warner did with Ben-Hur and Casablanca... 4K restauration is definitely an idea... and stellar bonus features usually complete a great set to remember the greatest films. So, Universal, what will it be for Dracula?
shame theres no deluxe box...Orca boat with the blu in the hull or in a Shark head!
wonder if us will be getting steelcase
Sweeeeet! You can't top Steven Spielberg! But when are they going to release E.T.?
I will be buying all of these on blu ray day one for sure can't wait
In any case, here's to hoping for more of a Conan the Barbarian transfer instead Back to the Future. But, it's Universal, so who knows?
Day one buy for sure I hope they release part 2 and 3 also on blu ray
I hope that Jaws 2 and 3 also come out on Blu ray and yes I really enjoyed both of these but as for part 4 well no comment needed .

I don't understand why people are so volatile against the digital copies.Personally i wouldn't sit and watch a whole movie on such a small screen as a phone but i've often used them to just watch my favourite scenes and with the ultra violet copy it dosen't even take room up on your storage as you can stream it.
