Haha, Meghan Fox holding a Chemistry 101 book.
like the twist hate fox
The movie sucked, Megan Fox cant act for sh*t, and to put out an "unrated" version of a film that was c**ppy in the first place is lame. They probably are gonna release some stupid version with like 1 minute of extra ridiculous nonsense. And call that "unrated" extra bonus material.
They did that with Drag Me to Hell. They released it with 6 measely idiotic seconds and called it an unrated directors cut.

OMFG! HELL YES! Such a flawed movie, but it was full of quotable dialogue. <3
I prefer the original slightly but generally both are ok...

Megan Fox is one of the worst actresses out there.
Also, I vastly prefer the abandoned, original artwork.

Well they have to get people jumping on the Blu waggon. So to only put extras on the Blu is away to do it
Of course it sucks for the DVD owners. But they get shorter by the minute

DOES NOT deserve the hate. This movie is supposed to be cheesy, it's supposed to be a horror but also a comedy. Perfect casting of Megan Fox, someone who has the looks and the attitude but also the acting chops that is mediocre but WORKS for the movie. Seyfried saves this film (acting with Meryl Streep can do that to ya), she's insecure but not naive and is an excellent actress to play off of Fox's character. The film is HOTTTTTTT, the kissing scene, the aura of the film, the overall sexuality is very enticing! GO SEE IT!!! Leave your mind at the door and enjoy the ride!!!
Yeah, the original artwork is much, much better. I wanna know who told them to change it, that was stupid.
This movie rocked! I'd watch Megan Fox in anything, but Amanda Seyfried stole the show. Once again, DVD users are getting screwed over by the studio, but whatever, I'll still buy this. However, the new cover art is a bit ridiculous. Makes the movie look like some werewolf/vampire horror movie, whereas it's really a high school dark comedy (as the original art demonstrated).
best scene by far was the kiss
but fox just was miscasted in the film,

I like this new artwork
interesting artwork change. it makes it look more B-movieish. too bad they're saving most of the extras for the blu-ray

Terrible movie. Not funny. Not scary. The dialogue is godawful. I understand that is a movie that you're not suppose to take seriously...but come on. You got to give the audience something.
I could care less about Megan Fox, she looks just like every other barbie doll in Hollywood. I don't know why every ones so gaga over her. I'm not going to see a movie just because she's in it, this looks retarded anyway.
The original artwork was much, much better.
The first cover was cooler... The second one looks like a porno.
The new artwork's disappointing and whoever's in charge of designing what goes on what DVDs/Blu Rays at Fox should have his balls smashed in like they were Willem Dafoe's in Antichrist. I'm sick of this DVDs get nothing/Blu Ray gets everything s * * t.
This movie rocked. I like the Original Artwork best. but I guess they shall do what ever they want. Movie was probably one of the best of 2009.
Sooooo glad they decided to go with this artwork. It's the better of the two, IMO. But like I said before, they could still use the one with the chalkboard in the background for the Rated version.

I prefer the old artwork, I thought this movie was way underrated, I thought the writing was really good, if a little grating at times, and the performances, yes even Megan Fox, were pretty damn good. I think I'll be picking this up.

A buy.
agreed another example is the terminator salvation blu-ray will have both versions why hasn't there been petitions to have the same content this is ridiculous i could see maybe if dvds reached it's end like vhs did but come on
i have both formats i still get mainly for dvds than blu-ray unless a movie has both versions or its a personal favorite of mine then i'll get blu-ray titles

I wonder what can be done to change the attitude 'screw DVD users'. Something needs to be done that's for sure, this is BS.
Much better artwork
from "Good" artwork to Painful artwork
The new artwork feels a little lazy. If someone hadn't heard of it, they'd think it was a straight to DVD lazy chopped together film.
The new artwork looks much better!
I like the new cover, but I'm so effing sick of bare-bones DVD releases and extra packed Blu-Rays. Some people can't afford to convert to Blu-Ray. Ugh.
well there goes my "least they used the original poster" comment. lol
but did i actually see someone say they are buying this simply because they think megan is hot? wow, i hope that was sarcam. lol

Original artwork was better, captured the tone of the movie better. New art is a bit too horror-looking.
VideoEta and DVD Empire both show a different cover...
Which one is right? Theirs or this one?

It was alright. Cover makes the movie look better.

Not sure why you'd think that would get you banned... That scene was all about showing the hold that Jennifer had over Needy, even after becoming hell-spawn. Plus, you know, girls copping off is never gratuitous.
*Edit* Sorry, I see Cory beat me to it.

Actually, there's a very good reason why the kissing scene is in the film. Gracious scene on the surface but it explains the reason why Needy's friends with Jennifer.
Needy loves Jennifer. This scene, the scene in the bar, and the ending are all you need to figure this out.
This is why she puts up with Jennifer's c**p.

Yes, Megan Fox does suck, and aside from a rockin' bod she is not that hot. That's my opinion anyway. But besides that, Jennifer's Body looks pretty entertaining. I do like Amanda Seyfried. Will definitely rent this.
I'm disappointed though they aren't going with the art that had been posted at Video ETA. I thought it was awesome.

The art they went with is fine, but not as cool, IMO. They should have used the Video ETA art for the Unrated version and the other art for the Rated version.

There's no nudity or sex per say. There are a few shots of Jennifer's cleavage, but no genitals are exposed. There's also no real sexual scenes. But don't let that get you down, this is a solid horror/comedy and one of the better non-redundant films to come out this year.

Too bad Megan Fox didn't look that good in the actually movie... thank god for Adobe!!!

I'm really quite intrigued. I also saw Jennifer's Body and Sorority row and I must say I liked the former. Jennifer's Body was more entertaining and original in my opinion. Although, the deaths in Sorority row were better. Still, I thought JB was better character-wise, and plot-wise.

Saw this on Halloween night, I thought the movie was bangin'. Megan Fox is sooooo salty IMO. And anybody on here who doesn't like her are totally jello! You're lime-green jello and you can't even admit it!!!
I will definitely purchase this, hope the unrated adds something more substantial than we are used to. Had a good ensemble cast aswell I felt, the guy who played Chip was funny.

Really disappointed this is going straigh to DVD here in Australia. Not that I'd have gone to see it at the cinema, but none the less. Just shows that being the "hottest person in the world" (riiight) and an Oscar winner's follow up film means jack.
Love the cover for obvious reasons.
I actually really enjoyed this. It was a bit of fun with some good dialogue in places and Megan Fox played to her strengths well I thought.
Seeing this Saturday. Hope it's good. It's been touched upon before, but, yes, indeed, there is different artwork posted up over on VideoETA. This is better, though, and I hope Fox sticks with it.

Megan is hot, but is it just me or does she look airbrushed on the cover? I didn't watch this one, but hope to watch it on DVD. Megan and Amanda, nice!
I wonder if this is the final artwork. If it is, it's either amazing that they didn't stick in review quotes on the cover, or maybe it's disturbing that they didn't even find one quote worthy of the front cover!

I heard this was a great horror movie. Megan Fox is an uber babe. I like how everybody is so serious about ones opinion of womens beauty. Hilarious.
Lame movie. Diablo Cody is a one-hit wonder and Megan Fox can NOT act. Fox is cute, yes, but hot -- hell no.
All the funny bits were in the red-band trailer, even though Amanda Seyfried did a wonderful job here. But I wouldn't buy it.

Ah, yes. The film that was supposed to finally cement Megan Fox as a full-fledged #1, marquee box-office draw, but failed miserably. Thanks, but no thanks.
Was kinda dissapointed. Might rent the unrated cut. But wont be buying unless it drops to 15.
Megan Fox is the most gorgeous babe alive!!! I’m definitely will buy it
I'll watch it. heard mixed responses to this film.
I just think Megan Fox is very hot but is nothing but good looks. I thought she wasn't that bad in the original "Transformers," though the sequel sucked. Will pass on this one. I'm now curious about her next movie "Jonah Hex." Can someone tell me if that one will be good or not?
Interesting how they changed the location of the blood drip from her lips between the DVD and Blu-ray
Don't get me wrong, Megan Fox is nasty
I did like the movie, except for the scenes she was in. That's why I'm buying it

I loved the script and I also love the movie. Hopefully, this unrated cut will add more scenes.
I enjoyed Juno immensely. When I heard Diablo Cody was doing a horror film, I flipped. Then I found out Megan Fox was going to be in it and I knew I had to see it.
Then, I went to the theater on opening day.
I was disappointed. It had a great story and Fox was good (although I believe Amanda Seyfried did better,) but the dialogue was so... bad.
I loved Juno's dialogue, although some parts in that film were terrible as well, but I think Cody was probably thinking because she won an Academy Award she could write anything and people would love it. There were so many cringe-worthy lines. The "Move On Dot Org" and "Green Jello" lines were the worst.
However, the film was fun to watch and I loved some of the sly humor, especially the sacrifice scene. I just wish that Diablo Cody didn't think she was so clever.

Cool cover. Movie was pretty decent; bit of a letdown, but hey, it was still pretty damn entertaining.
I didn't think it was all that abd. Is it a great movie? No. Is it a bad movie? No. Will I probably buy it? Yes
Video ETA has this listed as December 29th. They also have a different cover.
An underrated film in my opinion. While not a perfect film, it was a solid and sufficient one. The acting was surprisingly top-notch, the story was well-developed and somewhat original, and the dialogue was witty and refreshing. The film also kept my interest. A very cool film in my opinion. I will pick this up and if not, I'll most likely rent it again. Very solid film and a breath of fresh air in the horror genre.
Disciple wrote: Didn't see this but I want to see it. Is the script as good as or comparable to that of Juno in any way? (Like Diablo Cody and loved Juno)
Actually, overall, Jennifer's Body is similar to Juno. The pacing is the same. Both films have a voiceover. The dialogue is both queer in both films and witty. If you liked Juno, you should be able to enjoy yourself in the film. I'd say the dialogue is not as refreshing as in Juno, but there is still wit and charm to be found. The dialogue sounds cringe-worthy when the film starts, but as it progresses, it gets better.
