Paramount Home Entertainment has announced the 2nd season of Jericho which stars Skeet Ulrich. Each of the episodes will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include commentaries on 5 episodes by Dan Shotz and Jon Steinberg, a Rebuilding Jericho featurette, a Nut Job featurette, and the series finale with an alternate unaired ending.
Also available from the 17th June will be Jericho - The Complete Series. The 8-disc package will include both seasons of the show, along with an additional bonus disc. This will include a number of features such as a Behind the Scenes "Thank You", a table read, a look at a couple of action sequences from season 2, 100 Reasons to Watch Jericho, and more. The SRP will be set at around $84.99.

Hmmm. I wonder what the "Nut Job" featurette could be about? Maybe all those fans that sent CBS nuts in order to get them to keep to show? Just to get it cancelled on them again. What a waste of nuts.

Really loved this show. I'm glad CBS gave it a second chance. I know the ratings were even worst then the first season and CBS does have a bottom line. The fans need not be mad at the studio. We are lucky that we got 7 more episodes not to mention a conclusion of the series.
Way to base the cover off of "Southland Tales"
I wasn't a huge hardcore fan of the show, however, with that said, do you think CBS could've done a better job promoting it? I had NO idea it was on until about halfway through the season. I was hoping to catch it cause I casually watched Season 1 and enjoyed it enough. I just didn't see the promotion for the show, you know? Although, I may have just completely missed it all by chance... Thoughts?

However, they should have aired it in the 8 pm slot instead of the 10 pm slot. The 10 pm slot for many Tuesday shows on CBS has been bad news. Also they could have promoted it better. I know they want the ratings for NCIS repeats in the 8 pm, but I think Jericho would have gotten better ratings at a 8 pm slot like it was in last year.

I agree with David. I was thinking the same thing when watching the show. 10pm is a bad time for an "unpopular" show to find a wider fan base.
I was just happy to get these 7 episodes. It had a good run and after some thinking I now agree that an 8pm timeslot would have been better. I think the "Nuts" fans overestimated how popular this show was and mainstream audiences just didn't care. Plus, a serial drama like this show is hard to pick up new viewers.
Too bad the show was canceled again, but at least they got a second chance to end it decently. I only hope that they'll provide subtitles in Spanish and French just like they did on Season One DVDs, so that consumers outside US can adquire them also.

I was very satisfied with the ending. It's really the starting point of something huge. I hope we get good conclusion for "Lost".

Now that it's over, I'll probably check it out when the entire series is released (same day last I heard), and subsequently available at the library.
Serial shows are a b***h though. 24 and Lost are two of my favourite shows, but waiting week by week for every new episode is very frustrating at times. 24 less so since each season is pretty much wrapped up, but Lost's finales leave at least 4 cliffhangers. I actually tried getting into Jericho a while back, but after five minutes decided to wait for when it was finished to catch it all in one go.

Now that is what I was waiting for. The complete series. I loved this show but then lost the time to keep watching and then it got somewhat romancy and boring but that's when I stopped watching but I have to start again
CBS is idiots. They also recently cancelled the cult-fave Moonlight vampipre drama. CBS is a network that only care about money and don't give a s h i t about there fans
Bring this out in Belguim. I want this show on dvd, but it's taking them forever to bring it out. I hate you Paramount.
Thanks to the artwork, I'm glad that season 2 will include subtitles in spanish and portuguese (like season 1) but what I hate is that in order to get the bonus disc, which lists promising extras, you have to get the complete series boxset, which will be double dipping for those of us who already own the season 1 boxset.
If the complete series isn't too expensive, then I may double dip. I was a big fan and supporter of the show. I think it's bogus that CBS/Paramount is screwing people who own season 1 by adding a special bonus disc for the complete set.
The good thing about my season 1 set is that I got it signed by the cast and crew at a Comic convention a few months ago. So, my season 1 set will be more of a collector's item instead.
