Paramount Home Entertainment has announced that the second season of Joan of Arcadia will be released on the 28th of November at a yet to be determined retail price. The series tells the story of Joan (Amber Tamblyn), an average 16-year-old who is going through the growing pains typical of any teenager. But after she and her family (Joe Mantegna, Mary Steenburgen, Jason Ritter, Michael Welch) relocate to Arcadia, her life gets especially interesting when God starts paying her visits. Each of the twenty-two episodes that comprise the six-disc set with be presented in an anamorphic widescreen 1.78:1 aspect ratio. The title has just been announced so there's no word on extras just yet, but we'll let you know more as additional details come in. For now though, we've attached the artwork for the set below.

Yeah, it's unfortunate this got cancelled. It was so original. I need to pick up the first season first though.
This show was so great. It is very sad that they had to cencel the show as it was getting good at the end of season 2. I'll be picking this one up since I already bought the first season. I do agree the art work needs some work.
I loved this show.



I used to watch the first season, and I actually liked it, but for some reason I saw only a few episodes from the second one.
The cover art needs some work, especially "The second season" line.
