Quote: Out of the pages of the legendary comics and graphic novels steps Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin), a scarred drifter and bounty hunter of last resort who can track anyone…and anything. Having survived death, Jonah’s violent history is steeped in myth and legend and has left him with one foot in the natural world and one on the “other side.” His one human connection is with Lilah (Megan Fox), whose life in a brothel has left her with scars of her own. But Jonah’s past catches up with him when the U.S. military makes him an offer he can’t refuse: to wipe out the warrants on his head, he must hunt and stop dangerous terrorist Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich). But Turnbull, now gathering an army and preparing to unleash Hell, is also Jonah’s oldest enemy and will stop at nothing until Jonah is dead.

Nah, it's skipping a theatrical release altogether in Australia and heading to disc pretty soon.
I must have blinked and missed it down under....
By the looks of things that was a good thing

LOL about the howard the duck comment. Good stuff. Also i agree, its like they shy away from showing a disfigured face. Also happened with the valkyrie posters. They showed cruise with both hands and no eye patch. Its funny
"Howard the Duck" will have company on my DVD shelf now.
I wouldn't see this bull $h!t at all!!!!!!!!!!!
Are they... scared... of showing Hex's disfigured face?
I also may rent this to see how bad it is.

I may rent this just to see how bad it really is.
Wow... look at ALL those features (DVD or Blu-Ray, they look boring)... how can Warner even come up with movies like this?
Forever pass.
Forever pass.
All I've known of Jonah Hex was when he was featured in Justice League, from memory I think the episode was called The Once and Future Thing. It was a great episode. So when I heard a film version was being made I was hopeful of an interpretation close to what was done in JL but it seems they have fallen short of the mark.
At least Wild Wild West had Kevin Kline, Branagh hammed it up nicely aswell.

I actually thought the same thing. "Toy Story 3" was 1,000 times better than this piece of $hit.

I wanted to see this, but heard so many bad reviews and the fact that it's barely 80 minutes isn't encouraging either. I'll check it out as a rental and see if it's worst than Wild Wild West.

This was TERRIBLE. Pass.
I WANTED to like this and i still went in with an open mind(despite AWFUL reviews) but it was pretty bad. I too think an extended cut may help, but i wouldnt get my hopes up for the deleted scenes, watch em be like only 5 minutes.
This was woeful on EVERY level.
I think if this was released as a feature length animated movie, probably with the same actors & actresses providing the voices, I do believe it would have been more faithful to the source material & may have made more money than the live-action version! Who really knows????
I wonder if the deleted scenes show a better movie
That artwork is shocking.
The DC Character is *less* legendary now.
where's the quote from armond white's glowing review?
I was one of the few people who actually enjoyed it. It was silly at times but it did have some awesome action scenes. Worth a rent.
A shockingly bad movie. It's only 80 minutes long, which includes the end credits. Josh Brolin and the director deserved better than the studio's shoddy treatment.
I'll rent it so I can stare at Megan Fox. Isn't that pretty much the only selling point of this movie?
This looked awful...not checking it out at all!
i was just reading about this in a film mag..nows its on dvd already...not good enough for cinema then!
I had high hopes for this but everyone tells me it's so damn awful. I still think it looks fun. How is it compared to the Will Smith version of Wild Wild West?
I'd love to see a drastically extended cut of this because as is, it's not worth seeing again, let alone once really.
Poor Jonah, such a cool character given a bad adaptation.
