Isn't there one more 13 episode season after these 2 seasons? Epguide shows 5 total with Justice league.

The season finally is fantastic, it actually brought a lump into my throat. I'm pretty sure it was intended to be the series finally but Cartoon Network asked for another season. It took me some time to get used to the slight style changes and rush of new characters, but in the end it's the perfect and logical extension of all the Timm/Dini DC based work, from Batman to Superman to Justice League. I'm not much of a comic book reader, at least I haven't been since I was a kid, but JL and JLU get my vote as best television series of the past decade.

if anyone followed babylon 5 when it aired on tv, it would do the same.. have the season run...somewhere in the middle of the season have like a 3 month gap of repeats (i remembered b5 having more gaps then star trek at the time

run the rest of the season til the season finale, then bam, following week season premiere. They should either break down this release to season 1 and 2 OR do season 1/2/3 in one big box set.

The 4-disc packages are pretty thin... they could easily do a 2-disc set that's the same width and not have it seem out of place.

Well yes, but it's gonna leave a lonely 2-disc set at the end.
Maybe they'll include 2 discs of extras....no, we all know that isn't going to happen.

OK, folks...here's the deal with this. The 13th and presumably the last episode of Season One aired on 1/29. Just one week later, the first episode of Season 2 aired on 2/5. So basically WB is now just considering Seasons One and Two as a single 26-episode season. Which means of course, Season Three will be just a 2-disc 13-episode release. It's ashame, I guess, that there wasn't a 4th 13-episode season.
Never seen any of these before, so it's all brand new to me. Can't wait.
I almost confused this with season 1 of justice league.
That's why it looks like a cover goof. Best season I think.

So that means that a second volume would only have 13 episodes!
Are they planning on releasing more new episodes? Hopefully some time soon?
I hope so.

My favorite animated show on tv, I'm the biggest superhero nerd out there. Must purchase these!
I think that the artwork is awesome!
Artwork and aspect ratio specs added...just for you, Gabe.

oops artwork goof...... hawkgirl is not part of the team...til later in the season..and shes not hawkgirl anymore. the art department needs to fix her artwork quick cause she doesn't wear her mask anymore.
YAY! This is one of the best superhero shows ever. I can't wait, hope that the artwork is good.
YES!!!!
This is actually the first and second season
Oh, hell yes this is on my MUST HAVE list! This one AND batman beyond season 2!
I thought each season of JLU only had 13 episodes? What's with this 26 episode deal?
I can't wait. I'm going to buy this for sure.
Sweet news. Guaranteed purchase. Here is a show that still had some life left to it, and left us to early.
Fingers crossed for anamorphic enhancement this time.
Awesome, awesome news. Thanks!
