I'm curious, do you actually check any of your 'facts' before you post them?

he and quentin tarantino probably brainstormed about "presenting" movies while they were jerking eachother off.

saw this at vulgarthon a few years ago. it was atleast better than most of the other view askew dreck out there. "a better place" and "vulgar"... damn those movies suck!
if you're a big jeremy sisto fan, "now you know" should be right up your alley.

As everyone noted above, I am also going broke this day!!!
Kevin Smith didn't produce this - he is in the movie as "Married Guy". He's also a good friend of Jeff Anderson (Randal from "Clerks"
, who directed, wrote and starred in this. Smith has been a big proponent of this film, showing it when and where he could, and I think that's why the "Kevin Smith Presents" is on the cover. Usually, when someone does this, they have something to do with actually bringing the film to another audience.
The same was true with Zhang Yimou's "Hero", the American release of which bore the "Quentin Tarantino Presents" at the head of it. Tarantino wanted to make sure the American audiences saw it the way it was meant to be seen, without studio interference. If you'll notice, a lot of the Chinese movies that have been released over here have suffered from cuts due to pacing, dropped plots, or whatever. "Hero" was released with no such cuts. They have since released a director's cut of this film over in Asia, but regardless, a lot of the time, when a popular director or producer puts his name above the title, that person is putting his personal stamp on it, thereby ensuring some type of release.

"Kevin Smith Presents..." What did he do for this flick besides lend his name for the title?? I can not find him listed anywhere as producer, editor, writer... Am I missing something?
I like me some K. Smith movies and own them all. Jeff Anderson wrote and directed it, and his comedic timing, as seen in Clerks & Clerks II is most excellent. It just somewhat bugs me to slap Smith's name on it just for the marketing.
I'll bee looking forward to Clerks II, and An Evening/wKS:2, this one, I may pick it up.

Elias looks weird with facial hair.
"F**k Pillow Pants!"

His name is worth alot now ey?
Similar to "Quentin Tarantino Presents". They time these releases with a bigger flick related to it.
Despite all that, it's strikes me as worth owning.

I heard it's pretty damn good.

Jeff Anderson did this flick a while back - the only place I'd heard of it playing was at one of Kevin Smith's Vulgarthons, and I've been hoping to catch it ever since.
Never heard of this, but I'll definately give it a look. Same day to get Clerks II and Superman Returns. That day I'll be bankrupt.

Indeed, and An Evening With Kevin Smith 2 also comes out on the same day. It'll definitely be an expensive day for View Askew fans...

Can't wait to see Trevor Fehrman in this. He was hilarious as Elias in "Clerks II"...
