Universal has released early details on Kicking & Screaming which stars Will Ferrell, Robert Duvall, Mike Ditka and Kate Walsh. The film tells the story of family man Phil Weston, a lifelong victim of his father's competitive nature, who takes on the coaching duties of a kids' soccer team, and soon finds that he's also taking on his father's dysfunctional way of relating. The disc will be available to own in shops from the 11th October this year, and should retail at around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with English, French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. Extras will include deleted scenes, outtakes, alternate takes, a Kickin' It with the Kids featurette, a Soccer Camp featurette, a From Rome to Hollywood featurette, and, lastly, a Behind the Net: The Making of Kicking & Screaming feature.
