I see this time rather than photoshop his head onto a slim body they just tried to blur his head out...

But given most of his DTV films, they are no where near the classic status as his bone-crusing, hard-action thrillers of the late 80's and early 90's. IMO the production values are low, he does not even do his own re-looping of lines in post. Plus he never shoots movies in the US anymore. For the record I have enjoyed only two of his DTV offerings. Today you Die and Urban Justice. To me those where close to his Above the Law/Hard to Kill/Out for Justice films.
Okay I have to agree with you that probably alot of people are turned off by these movies is because of the horrendously low budgets. I remember seeing one of these movies try and pretend to be Amsterdam when it was so obvious it was Los Angeles. I checked a few of Seagal's DTV titles and most have a budget of $15M or less. Most are either shot in Los Angeles or Eastern Europe.
As for his recent DTV flicks, I thought the following were actually good and watchable:
Pistol Whipped
Urban Justice
The Foreigner/Black Dawn (plays the same character)
Into the Sun
Belly of the Beast

wow it's not a Sony DTV movie.
I would love to see Seagal step outside the box of his usual action cop ( or ex-secret agent) and do soemthing different.
Seagal just does not know when to quit.
Isn't this technically exactly the same as Glimmer Man?
Steven Seagal makes the best comedy films around, I hope this lives up to the standards of his other comedy films. His films are always highly watchable with his DTV being his funniest work.
I haven't enjoyed one. IMO everything since Exit Wounds has been awful.

Rather than bashing him, I give him credit for continuing to extend his career into DTV. Some of his DTV features have actually been quite decent, so I'm not the person who will constantly post comments saying..."Oh another Seagal turd."
I heard this one was ok but I fall for that everytime .
Given that Seagal has written it, gives it some credit, surely he'll turn up for filming if it's his script?

The Turds just keep on coming...
Man, what has happened to Seagal?
I'm 28, and when I was younger, the best action heroes were Seagal, Van Damme, Snipes, Stallone, Willis, and Schwarzenegger. Who do we have nowadays? Willis on occasion, Jason Statham, and ...?
I guess the point I'm trying to make is that it's sad that many of the big stars of yesterday are stuck doing carbon copy DTV features, while no one is on deck to take over the mantle.
