I've been begging the PR company for this (and the others) for weeks now. Fingers crossed.
Good work Chris. We need more independent and foreign language films on BD.
Of course this would be announced right after I imported the HK BD. Ah, well. It probably would have cost me near as much to import this one, as well.
I did mention it in the forums a while ago, but no one reads out forums
Where's the specs? Where's the specs? Where's the specs?
Only,(half), kidding.
Only,(half), kidding.
I have been promised the discs after a grovelling email to the PR company. They should have specs up before then, but they usually only list the extras.
I'm hearing disturbing rumours that this is only going to have the fading version of the film... Wasted opportunity.

I saw some screen caps of the HK blu-ray. Looks amazing.
Indeed it does. I held off for this release, but now I'm going to get the HK disc because I want the full colour version of the film. Pity the exchange rate is so c**p though, as it costs about £20...
I'm glad this includes the Fade to Black and White version but it's frustrating that thye haven't included the commentaries with Park Chan Wook on both this and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. The extras on both these films and Oldboy in Tartan's Vengeance Trilogy box set were brilliant.
It doesn't include the fading version, that's the only version, which sucks.
Will you be getting a review copy of this,Chris?
Apparently yes, but they haven't had the discs in yet. I've certainly been promised both this and Mr. V (and maybe the others), but who knows what with the postal problems? I've got the HK disc on the way for comparison purposes as well.
A crying shame it's only the faded version, the transfer isn't bad at all, quite detailed and with grain intact.
Still not had review copies. My HK BD will be here before them at this rate!
So any word on the Tale of Two Sisters BR?
