$200????? FORGET IT!!!!!!!! That's more than it would cost to buy them in tweo seperate volumes for each year.
Soooooooo tempting...
I would buy this if it were like their "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea" sets. I can afford those, half a season at a time. As I understand it, this was a so-so show. Two hundred price tag? I'll pass.
probably get that for half the price on Amazon as a pre-order,
I Remember This...
... but not fondly. Yes, I'm old enough to remember seeing this series, first run on TV, as a kid. Not as good as Lost in Space, or even the Time Tunnel. I'd pass on this even if it was affordable.
I've never seen this show but I really enjoyed some of Allen's movies and TV shows. Time Tunnel and Voyage are excellent but this one doesn't interest me. If the interviews on this set are anything like the ones on the Voyage sets, then I don't expect them to be longer than 10 mins each.
wow. it was an OK series. still not as good as Voyage
hehe... thing I remember most from this was the massive, fake, non-moving hand they used whenever one of the giants tried to pick them up.

Those were Irwin Allen's only decent shows, the others are terrible.

LOL, that's the only thing I remember from the show as well, except that I'm pretty sure the thumb moved slightly. I also remember that one of the characters was a teenager called Barry who had a benji-like dog who always got them in trouble with his barking.

Great show - gotta get this one except I may wait 3 months for the price to hit something that's realistic.
Artwork added...
coolest packaging ever.
though the price tag takes a big bite out of the kickass box's ass.

nice set, stupid price. ill pass too
Thats the RRP no one sells at that price. Sheesh
I remember, as a kid, visiting Universal Studios in California when the show was on the air. They had all the props for the show on display. I recall a giant pencil 12 feet long, a huge chair and telephone etc. We got photos in the family album of me playing with the props.
As for the show itself, it didn't hold my interest after a few episodes. I was and still am a huge fan of the Time Tunnel.

Incredible box set; one of the nicest I've seen...
nice package art. incredible.
Great packaging but even at discounted pricing at Amazon, this set seems to expensive to buy not knowing if I will like it.
I hope they will release a more reasonably priced couple of volumes without all theses extras. I would just like the show.
