Sorry to say,NO they are not the Directors Cuts.
Most unfortunate! I'm sure in time they will release all the Director's Cuts.
Directors Cuts
Donner has stated that the "DC's" were just marketing speak the version in this set are HIS Directors cuts

Yes thats correct Mike, and the scenes that were in the "Director's Cut" should be included in the deleted scenes. I've read good things about the transfers, the movies will be uncut (LW 2and4) so I will be purchasing when the price comes down.

Sorry... So it has been confirmed that this Lethal Weapon Box Set is "uncut" in the UK? Thanks. 2 and 4 are the same as the US versions?

Got mine today. Completely uncut.
Guys, forgive my ignorance but what are the differences between the cut and uncut versions?

So if the Director's cuts were marketing speak how did they come to exist? Is this set worth getting?

As far as i'm aware they just threw a bunch of deleted scenes back in & marketed them as director's cuts. Aside from one great new scene in the first movie, they add absolutely nothing to the films other than running time. I think it's noteworthy that the versions Donner has done commentaries for are the theatricals.
If you're a fan of the series, this set's definitely worth picking up. All finally uncut, with commentaries, deleted scenes & a couple of hours of retrospective interviews by the cast & crew.

How can they get away with marketing DCs if they arent DCs? Shocking!
