Lethal Weapon. Man, those were the good ol' days, before Mel became a crazy, hyper-religilous, Anti-Semitic drunk with a crazy Russian mail-order bride for a baby mama...

i know right, all it needs is a big image of Jimmy J.J. Walker screaming!

The first film was GREAT. The 2nd one was Good. The 3rd and the 4th were bad. I only want the first 2.
What an awful, awful cover. First off, why borrow the Mission: Impossible fuse motif? Second, what the hell does dynamite have to do with this franchise? Third, did they really need to lazily shopped in "DYNAMITE" label in there? As if we're too f**king stupid to see it's dynamite?
Oh, one of your stars is poison and you had to think of something that wouldn't require showcasing him? Nevermind, all is forgiven...

Time for good old Mel to pay that divorce... so he's asked Warner for some help... (that was mean).
You should just get the uk version, as, right now, it's cheaper.
It's about DAMN TIME!
Interesting that the promo material credits Donner as the Director of Superman 1 AND 2, since the "Donner Cut" of 2 only came out 6 years ago ....
I did not buy the UK version, I was waiting on the USA version as I was hoping you guys would get the Directors Cuts of all 4 films but I see all you will be getting is the same as us in the Uk. As its the first movie's 25th Anniversary this year I was hoping for better than we got and you are getting.
about time we finally get this over here. seems to be the same thing as what the UK got last year or the year before down to the cover art. but guess they waited til now since its the original movie's 25th anniversary this year.
and its been a while since mel went crazy so sales might not be affected since the original release date had it coming around the time he really went nuts. i'm sure thats partly why they pushed it. lol
as for the extras...30mins per film? ha....we all know Part 1 will get most of the screen time and it'll lessen with each sequel. just like the docs on the original star wars dvd collection and indiana jones and back to the future and jurassic park and so on...

The real reason to get these is the upgraded video on Lethal Weapon & Lethal Weapon 2 and the fact that 3 & 4 have never been released on Blu-ray in the US. The features are okay but nothing special and the new commentary tracks from Donner aren't that great--there are long pauses and he doesn't seem to remember much about the films. It was kind of surprising seeing as how his commentaries are usually pretty good.
But why wait for June...the all-region UK set can be bought and shipped for just over $32 right now.

Looks like the special features aren't that immersive. Its 2 hours means just about 30 minutes per film... way not enough immersive for a... what did they call it? Ah yeah, a billion dollars franchise...
