Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has announced theatrical and director's cut releases of Life is Hot in Cracktown which stars Kerry Washington, Victor Rasuk, Evan Ross, and Brandon Routh. Each will be available to own from the 25th August for around $26.97 a pop. Extras will include a behind the scenes featurette, and deleted scenes. We've attached the official artwork below:

Okay, now that I've read a little more about this over at IMDB, my interest to see this has actually piqued a bit. Seems like Routh is going against type, in dramatic fashion, by playing a junkie in the movie. Seeing Supes playing a crack fiend is something I gotta see.....

I have a morbid curiosity about seeing this mainly for The RZA. He did an okay job in Derailed, but seeing that this movie went straight to DVD, I guess I better make sure I go into this with extremely low expectations, LOL. Brandon Routh looks like that pot dealer guy James Franco played in The Pineapple Express, with that hat on. Nobody must be sending Kerry Washington a whole lot of scripts lately either, if she's in this....
