According to the press release, this is the Final volume.
Looks like another must have! I guess they had to end these volumes sooner or later. Even though theres like millions of cartoons left, I think they've remastered all of the most popular or important ones.
Are any of the episodes doubled up over the volumes? Just cos they don't seem to be any sort of logical order (captain)

Nope, never seen the same one twice. Some of the themes of the cartoons are the same though. They'll have a section for Bugs, Daffy and then everyone else and repeat that ordering on most releases. But the cartoons themselves are all unique to each set. The overwhelming amount of extras you get is fairly ridiculous too making each box a pretty good value.

A new "Golden" collection is always welcome news. I still hope, but don't expect, the "Censored 11" (or twelve if you count "Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips" ) will show up in some form for the benefit of collectors one day. An extra disc of these cartoons as part of a "Golden" collection would have certainly been the way to go since the price of these sets certainly keep them from the casual viewer.
ROCKET BYE BABY!! I Love that one!!
Honestly never expected to see Herr Meets Herr in one of these sets, but I'm glad they included it!
I also second Batlash's comment about making the "censored" cartoons available to collectors and film historians in some way.
I thought I heard somewhere that Disney was going to be releasing "Song of the South" in some fashion. If they can do that, certainly Disney can follow suit with their more "sensitive" releases.

there are still censored shorts? i thought that was the point of these collections, to release the shorts as they originaly appeared? or have these other 11 crossed a line warners is afraid of? lol

I'd also like to see the uncensored Tom & Jerry cartoons released on DVD but i doubt thats gonna happen. Maybe if criterion get a hold of em, who knows?
It's sad that the PC brigade can start censoring something as innocent as a Tom & Jerry cartoon.

In this case "censored" means "never to be released at all" due to some very un-PC content".
Track down "Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips" (you'll probably have to torrent or P2P it) to see what I mean.
Though I do have the classic Fleischer-era "Superman" collection and it includes "The Japoteurs" among a couple others which are as un-PC as their Looney Toons counterparts and yet they still got released.
Incidentally, at the risk of coming off as a bad Looney Tunes fan, what are the "Censored 11"? Can you point me to a site with more info?

And it stars Marc Antony and the cute black kitty! Two popular supporting characters.
What's up, Warner Bros????

Few more details added
too much money out of my wallet for OCTOBER...
Disc 4 shows Horton Hatches the Egg.
Yay, love these golden collections every year. i can't believe this will be the last one though but I am happy they are still going to release their shorts in other kinds of sets.
Still, some of my favourites are not yet released! When I originally saw the list of the films included I was quite disappointed. nice list but I wanted a lot more.
(This would be a release I wouldn't mind a digital copy of!)

Love that short too! Not only does it have Marc antony and Pussyfoot but one of my all-time favourite supporting characters, Claude!
'Hyde and Go Tweet' is also a favourite I was hoping for in this set.

Hmmm...do I get these or wait for a super-duper box set?
