Is there any UK or AUS release anounced....its got be released in OZ...RIGHT
He looks like Jake Gyllenhaal on that cover.
I'm actually lovin' this new artwork.
What's up with the horrible cover ? Why not just use the movie poster ?
So Warner just hast to annaounce "Mad Max:Beyond Thunderdome" and the original Trilogy will be on Blu-ray.
In 1979 the Aussies gave Hollywood a masterclass in movie making and this is it!
Great. Definitely looking forward to this!
great...bout time...now we need MM3 (please delete the kid scene`s tho..lol)
The second disc is a SD-DVD and contains all the extras that the MGM DVD release had.
It would have been nice to have seen a new documentary and/or audio commentary from other members of the cast, such as Steve Bisley and Hugh Keays-Byrne. Gibson wouldn't have wanted to be involved, as he was an alcoholic during the first couple of Mad Max films.
All we ask is just for a great transfer and impressive audio - and for the poxy thing not to be region-locked.

i just recently went through this trilogy with canada's answer to netflix. i had never seen the first two but saw the third when i was young. anyway i dont know if its one of those movies you had to see during its initial release but i dont get the love the first two have. maybe i've been decentized and much "worse" movies have come along since so whatever impact they originally had dont work as well today.
but all that said....its pretty nice to see a catalogue blu-ray get a decent set of extras so the fans should definately be happy. but whats this about an original australian track? the dvd copy i rented must have had it because everyone sounded very aussie. lol
