Sony have some real outstanding films in the catalogue library, like Leon, Dr. Strangelove, Taxi Driver and Crouching Tiger. Why can't they release titles of that calibre instead of these recent waves of c**p films?

My guess is they're releasing popular, relatively recent titles to build up a Blu-ray fan-base.

Crouching Tiger was due for release a while back, but they shelved it. I hope it gets a release soon, because none of the DVDs really ever did it justice.

Well I think we will not get major catalog titlesd from the major studios until there is something like 10 million units sold
