Magnolia Home Entertainment has announced Man On Wire which follows tightrope walker Philippe Petit's daring, but illegal, high-wire routine performed between New York City's World Trade Center's twin towers in 1974. The disc will be available to own from the 9th December, and should retail at around $26.98. Extras will include an audio commentary, and deleted scenes. The artwork is attached:

74? ohhh...i thought this was something that happened shortly before they fell. i thought it was about that guy who's been freeclimbing all these famous buildings/monuments from around the world. i think he's nicknamed spider-man. maybe its the same guy but i didnt realize this was so old.

anyway on a somewhat related note, last night i saw snake plissken land on the towers with a glider plane thingy.

so you watched the TV cut of "Escape from NY" on Peachtree/TBS also?
