Or if you have more than one TV in the house

It doesn't up and delete itself from your device or from your account. And with the addition of video streaming from iCloud for iTunes digital copies, even most digital copies that you may have deleted from your computer are available for streaming or download. The UltraViolet copies operate in a similar fashion - once you activate it with your account, it's supposed to always be there until you delete it.
ohhhhh....well that makes a lot more sense, alrighty then. lol

What's the release date?
There have been plenty of "average" superhero films of late but I loved this.
It's the 2 Disc blu-ray for me too. I wish there was a 1 disc blu-ray because I've no interest in the DVD (I've even less interest in the 3D version).

September 25 for us folks in the U.S.. I'll be getting the DVD+Blu-ray pack day one.
Even though I thought the 3D post-conversion was excellent, I thought the movie plays much better in 2D. It's a really beautifully-shot and edited movie, kudos to Seamus McGarvey and editors Jeffrey Ford and Lisa Lassek.

Beyond the fact that many people would like to watch a movie on their phone/tablet/computer while traveling, you're forgetting that many digital copies can now be streamed, many in HD, from iCloud or UltraViolet. This allows you to watch your purchased movies in several rooms at home, at a relative's home, a friend's house, a hotel room, or pretty much anywhere else you have an internet connection, without having to actually carry them around. I find the streaming digital copies to be very useful.
i can't speak for the ultraviolet stuff but dont the physical digital copies have expiration dates? because whatever one's opinion of digital copies is...that seems pretty stupid and pointless.

Never understood the expiration date - when you buy the original it should be able to be activated for as long as you own the product...

I love digital copies because I can watch them anywhere and leave the BDs at home to watch in all of their glory. As for expiration of the digital copies, majority do expire IF you don't download them. Once you download them, they don't!
