Warner Music Vision has announced the release of Meat Loaf: Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for the 18th of October. The DVD was filmed over two nights in Melbourne, Australia, where Meat Loaf performed with the internationally renowned Melbourne Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor/arranger Keith Levinson. Captured by award winning director Michael Simon, the show includes everything from dancers to drummers to a choir that, along with the full sixty piece orchestra, complements the legendary performer’s hard-rocking band and underscores Meat Loaf’s unique vocal style.

The two-disc set includes Meat Loaf’s biggest hits ‘Bat Out Of Hell’, ‘Dead Ringer’, ‘You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth’, Paradise by the Dashboard Light’ and ‘I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)’ and many others, all of which are presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS 5.1 sound. The DVD also includes a featurette, interview, photo gallery, and track by track commentary by Meat Loaf. You can expect to pay around £19.99 for the set upon its release.
