On the contrary, I'm so waiting for this! I'm glad it's finally seeing the light of day.
I love this show.....wish it was still on in first-run syndication.
Why are Heather Locklear and Daphne Zuniga on the cover? They weren't on the show by then.

I definately recall Zuniga in Season 1.. I don't however remember Locklear being in Season 1, I thought she came in @ S2.

Heather Locklear & Daphne Zuniga
Yes they were, Daphne Zuniga (JO) came in midseason in November '92 replacing one character leaving Amy Locane(SANDY). Then Heather Locklear came in January '93 playing of course (AMANDA WOODWARD) to spiced up the show a little.

And hence what's wrong with Western Civilization. When Hollywood can put out tripe shows like this which gain a following as they do, Western Civilization is surely headed for a downfall. First it was 90210, then it was Melrose Place, followed by Dawsons Creek and now it's The OC.
Who the hell watches these shows anyway? Wait...I got it...it's these metro-sexuals I've been hearing so much about lately.

The OC and One Tree Hill, although both shows look like they'll be ending this upcoming season (hope not for The OC).
I want them to be replaced though, because there needs to be a prime time soap.

I didn't like season 1 at all - the subsequent seasons were fun. As for the previous posts - yes Daphne Zuniga and Heather Locklear did come in towards the end of season 1.

I have never seen "The OC" or "Dawson's Creek". I don't watch teenager stuff.

Actually, it is your post that shows what is wrong with civilization. . . a lack of tolerance. Okay, you don't like it. It doesn't give you a right to mock people that do. I'm sure they would mock whatever shows you care to watch.
I don't really care for the show, but I am very, very surprised it took this long to get on DVD. I wonder if it will sell as well as it would have when it was recently off TV.

Just think, this is the first set of what, ten seasons followed by a $300 megaset surely already planned for release. Wow, imagine the extras!?!?
