Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($28.95) and Blu-ray ($38.96) releases of Micmacs for December 14th. Extras will include a commentary with Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, a Making of Micmacs featurette, a Q&A with Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Actress Julie Ferrier, and an Animations: Absurd Deaths feature. Quote: First it was a mine that exploded in the middle of the Moroccan desert. Years later, it was a stray bullet that lodged in his brain... Bazil doesn't have much luck with weapons. Good enough movie. It doesn't compare well to Jeunet's other flicks, but on its own its quite an enjoyable little film.
