Quote: Based on a short story by the late Philip K. Dick, this science fiction-thriller reflects the writer's familiar preoccupation with themes of concealed identity and mind control. Tom Cruise stars as John Anderton, a Washington, D.C. detective in the year 2054. Anderton works for "Precrime," a special unit of the police department that arrests murderers before they have committed the actual crime. Precrime bases its work on the visions of three psychics or "precogs" whose prophecies of future events are never in error. When Anderton discovers that he has been identified as the future killer of a man he's never met, he is forced to become a fugitive from his own colleagues as he tries to uncover the mystery of the victim-to-be's identity. When he kidnaps Agatha (Samantha Morton), one of the precogs, he begins to formulate a theory about a possible frame-up from within his own department. Directed by Steven Spielberg, who hired a team of futurists to devise the film's numerous technologically advanced gadgets, Minority Report co-stars Colin Farrell, Max von Sydow, and Neal McDonough.

I don't normally care about such things, but that's a terrible cover.

It does look like someone went a bit overboard with the Botox injections
Paramount has been absolutely terrible lately with their cover art.
Use the frickin' poster. My god that is dreadful.
Looks like Channing Tatum, er, Tom Cruise is doing the dance move where you alternately throw up sideways peace signs over your eyes.
I wish they'd use the grey poster with the bandaged eyes. That one was always my favourite. Will be buying this regardless.
It's an interesting concept for the cover, it was just poorly designed and executed. The original DVD art was pretty cool. I don't know why Paramount has been changing their covers for catalog titles.
Cover art aside, I absolutely love this flick. I know what I'm asking for for my birthday now.

Why do they so often ditch perfectly good poster art, and create covers that look like a 6-year-old did them with Photoshop?
That is literally one of the worst covers I've ever seen.
Why the heck didn't they just use this?

Or this?

This is one of the few individual movies I will re-buy on Blu.
Who the hell is running things over at Paramount?? It's like they're changing Dreamworks' perfectly fine artwork just because they want to make the film their own. This one makes Collateral look like a Criterion Edition!...Get those lab monkeys out of the design department!!
the cover is c**p but the movie is a masterpiece

Agreed... but that damn cover art down't make me any easier about double dipping. Especially when the theatrical poster was so minimilist, yet fantastically awesome.

Artwork looks more like "Eagle Eye" artwork from the single disc DVD.
And I thought "Collateral" had a pitiful artwork! GRRRR
worst. boxart. ever.
Agreed, could be worst blu-ray artwork for a great movie ever.
At the expense of sounding like a broken record and adding nothing new to the conversation . . . . . egad, that cover art is pretty goshdarn awful.
BUT it's nice to see the abundance of special features (I love Laurent Bouzereau's work) for this great movie, one of Spielberg's more underrated gems. WE NEED MORE SPIELBERG ON BLU-RAY!!!!!

I dont get why they keep changing the cover art... but I will buy this movie regardless.
Wow, that cover art and font is a travesty
Buy first day! Bad cover art!
Man, that cover sucks. Why can't they use the poster art? It seemed to be okay for the DVD release. Still, I will pick this up. Should look great on BD.
The cover is pretty meh. I'll pick this up when it's $15 on Amazon.
They just had to change the poster art......!
I remember the original box art being very similar to M:I-2.

Yeah, it most certainly was. I was never crazy about it either, so this isn't too horrifying. Still, if they decided to revise this and put that theatrical poster on the box, that would be lovely.

MY EYES!!!!!!!!!
Who cares if the cover art is bad? I will look at it for 12 seconds before I remove the disc to play it. Afterwards it will be on my shelf and I will only see the spine.
That doesn't even look like Cruise
Are they kidding us with that cover? I mean, this is a joke, right???
