I hope the trailer is included, I thought it was amazing.

I saw the first two, but didn't bother to see this one yet. I think it would have done better in theatres if the public started losing interest in Tom Cruise, who's been acting a little odd.
That needs a LOT of improvement.
I hear this is getting a simultaneous release on HD-DVD, Blu-Ray and standard DVD.
it was an ok popcorn flick. Sadly the underused Philip Seymour Hoffman. The trailer was his shinning moment. Is it just me but is anyone else tired of Tom Cruise?
No thanks - I'm on a self-imposed Tom Cruise moratorium. His crazy offscreen antics have really turned me off...and I barely liked him to begin with.
Bleh. No offense to the above poster but it really pisses me off that people didn't see this, a very good movie, just because Tom Cruise acted a little loopy. It's just so completely and entirely irrelevant on every level...
Pretty darn good popcorn movie - I'll definitely pick this up - but I think I'll just stick to the single disc - and I'll probably wait for it to come out on previously viewed at Blockbuster. That's decent artwork - not as good as the theatrical poster but not bad. I'd take Keri Russel off there, though - seeing as how she's hardly in it - put Maggie Q (salivating) and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers on there instead - as this movie really focuses on the whole IMF team (which is part of what I liked so much about it)
Now, does anyone have artwork for SCE. I'm betting it'll be like the first poster, with the match being struck (Like what they did for the LE of WotW, a big pic of Tom Cruise for the single disc, than the poster that doesn't even have any mention, other than his name, on it). The single disc cover doesn't look too bad though, even if it does have Tom Cruise's ugly face on it. But, as usual, I'll be going for SCE, and I have to agree with the quote on the cover, it's the best M:I film.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. Just because an actor like himself has some colorful moments off screen doesn't mean that people should not see their movies. He's a great actor and makes awesome movies. I couldn't care less about him off screen.
This movie was great. It wasn't better than the 1st, but it was WAY better than the 2nd.
That art needs some work done, and they need to add the awesome Paramount banner across the top. I'm willing to bet this art isn't final yet.

I'm glad to see a featurette on the film's score. J.J. Abrams is one of those directors that really puts high priority on music, and his teaming with Michael Giacchino is a perfect fit. Giacchino's score for LOST is amazing each and every week. They match styles perfectly.
Interesting that the HD & BluRay are very close to the price of the 2-disc SE. They need to get the prices this close to make the format take off.
I REALLY hope they fix that art cause it is just... BLEH.
Hopefully, the art for the 2-disc will be the one-sheet.
And Chem, another website said that trailes will be included.

The artwork is fine but could be better. Great film.
I personally really liked this film -- very tense, very exciting and kept you watching until the very end. Sure, it gets afflicted with plot holes, but Phillip Seymour Hoffman's Davien Owens is the best movie villain since Dennis Hopper in "Speed" and Alan Rickman in "Die Hard". (I could care less about Tom Cruise's off-screen life.)
I'll get the 2-disc edition... knowing JJ Abrams he likes doing high-quality, extras-laden DVDs for projects he collaborates on.

the movie was too character focused on Tom Cruise the individual rather than the character he was portaying (Mr.Hunt) Great triology don't get me wrong, so many actors in this movie were underused ust so that Tom Cruise can shine and clear his name with today's stories. It's a shame because in a couple of year we are going to look back and watch the movie and say it was an OK movie, not a WOW what a gem of 2006, greatest movie of that summer. The potential was there...that mission was certainly possible
still no news on a trilogy box set?
Got nothing against Cruise or any of his movies, he's made some brilliant flicks BUT I felt slightly cheated on when I watched this movie. What is the rabbit's foot? We never even find out, I didn't like that at all, I just didn't feel "The Threat". The film as a whole just felt a little sloppy and rushed. Hoffman was underused also. Anyway I think I'll give it another go on DVD, but I'm not expecting to be blown away. I think M:I-1 remains the best.
I really did enjoy this film, and I agree with Adrian that about the price being so close to the standard dvds will really help the hd and blue ray formats.
Haven't seen this, but it is definately on my list of films to buy.
I don't watch talk shows or television entertainment magazines, and so, whatever antics celebrities are up to are filtered through to me on a very small scale. So, what Tom Cruise has been doing lately didn't bother me, and I really enjoyed this movie. Cruise really makes you forget anything going on in reality halfway through the first scene.

They're releasing this on a Monday? Odd, but okay.
I saw it twice theatrically and thought it was pretty fun. It was an improvement over the first two and I plan on getting the 2-disc edition.

This is a must buy for me; it is the best in the series. I'll pick up the 2 disc collectors edition, and I can't wait to see the artwork for it.
Deffinetly the best Mission Impossible. J.J. Abrams did a awsome job with this film. I'll be picking it up.
I concur with YlowBstard!
Yah, I agree with Jurgie, I really loved the whole team part of the first movie (poor Emilio Estevez), though it didn't last long as the plot went. That is definetly why I hate the second movie, it is all Hunt, in this one, the IMF team actually does something, it isn't Hunt going in by himself and blowing up the place.
I haven't seen any of the 3 films yet. Hopefully they'll release a box set with all 3 films, then I will be tempted.
They're coining the Monday release as "Mission Monday." Paramount promises this to be one of the best looking HD-DVDs available to date. I can't wait!
No boxset?
never mind.
