Missed it in theaters. Lot of stuff going on the time it was released for me. Going to buy the Dvd.
This is one of those movies that are made with the best intentions, and turn out to be quality films, but nothing that's particularly fascinating or interesting. I felt that the film was good, but could've gone further with what it had.
This movie looked pretty good but something I would rather save for home as a rental than a must see in theaters.
I saw this at the theater right near me and it was ok but spectacularly average, it felt more like a made for HBO movie than anything else. I would never buy this on DVD or Blu-Ray, that's for sure.
Didn't get to see Moneyball in theatres. Might give it a rent before buying it.
I liked it as a traditional inspirational "underdog" sports movie BUT having read the book in the past, there were quite a few opportunities missed. I disliked how just WHAT he did got kind of glossed over and overly simplified as well as my favorite part of the book (the draft) being ignored entirely.
I don't like the cover

Really? I mean she wasn't much of a character herself, but I thought her presence in the movie was essential for exploring Billy Beane's character. She's a major factor in his decision making.
Yeah she was a major factor in his decision making, but the movie is about the love of baseball and I thought she kind of got in the way.

"Brad Loses It blooper"
That's pretty much the whole entire film.

I'm sorry, I have to bite. How do you know it is overhyped if you haven't seen it?
I was thinking the exact same thing
Good question.

One thing that bugged me is the song the daughter sings didn't even come out till much later than the timeline of this film. The songs from 2008 and the movie takes place during the early 2000s

Liked this one a lot. Pitt was great.
I don't really care about digital copies much because I never use them, but the UV digital copies are a joke. The login system (on 2 sites) and the Flixster app you have to stream it on is horribly designed. I'm happy to see that Amazon customers are lashing out against it.

This one was a bit overrated and overhyped IMO, but was good. Not great, just enjoyable.
Artwork is ok except for the typography...

Really liked this film. Probably day one. Too bad it comes with a UV digital copy, might skip the two-disc version because of it.
