From what I recall, it was a short-lived show from last year on Lifetime that tried to piggyback on "Angel"'s success -- a hunky vampire with a conscience who helps mortals during the nighttime.
I never watched it though. The ads made it seem cheesy as hell.

it was on last year, on fridays on CBS.
i watched a couple of episodes before giving up.

You are thinking of 'Blood Ties' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808013/)
Moonlight was a network show...though it was pretty cheesy.

What no extras. well that just sucks. Do they want that no one buys this or what

Oh, well that explains it.

I don't know, but for some reason Vampires and palm trees never did mix for me lol.
It was actually a good show. The 1st 12 episodes (pre writer's strike) were a little rough, but it finished the season strong. It got cancelled because the network it was on (CBS) wasn't happy with 7-8M viewers a week. Even though I would say that's a decent number for a Friday night.
I know there were alot of women fans who loved the chemistry between O'Loughlin and Sophia Myles.
The best way to describe this show is being a mix of a crime procedural and a touch of Beauty and the Beast (the old Linda Hamilton and Ron Pearlman series)

I miss this show. Can't wait for the DVD. Also a big fan of Forever Knight.
How could a series with Shannyn Sossaman and Sophia Myles end up so dull to watch?!?
Tremendous show. CBS made a huge mistake in canceling it. I'm sad that we won't get any extras, though -- I hope they intend to ad some, because charging us $40 for 16 hours of televison seems steep when "Pushing Daisies" went for less, with only a couple fewer episodes...
That being said, this will be a definate purchase, and wind up on my shelf next to Angel and Buffy.

Another "blink and you will miss it" series...
This sounded pretty bad from what I read about it, but maybe I'll get around to it.
Bad artwork.
Bad artwork.
