Hitch 2.0?
I spy with my little eye..... A lame "Hitch" rip-off.
Direct to dvd vs movie quality
It used to be a valid criteria before large movie studios purchased distributors (or vice versa). Since it's all such a monopoly block now, it's harder for independent movies to break through. I watched countless brilliant movies on IFC and Sundance channels, movies which were never released theatrically, just on DVD. Much better in fact that 60% of the c**p the large studios produce and distribute in their own theatres. People who trust their own taste will not go through the "if it's approved by corporate big wheels it must be good". I look at clips, I read reviews and I usually get to watch quality stuff.
I somehow find myself unable to make a judgement about the quality of a film until I've actually SEEN the film. How do yo all manage? I plan to watch the movie, and then make up my own mind. What a concept.
Why such haters? This is not going to be great, that is why it is direct-to-dvd. I will give it a try. I try to support the Whedon-verse actors, but sometimes, that is hard. I agree that he is great on tv, why bother with movies?
Why are everyone's panties in such a bunch?
The difference between the Film Threat reviewer and you is that....well, he saw the movie.
I saw a clip at you tube

so, I also know a bit more than you.
I would have prefered to see this on a screen, but I'll gladly buy the DVD and I know many who will too.
You may now resume moping.

I love David Boreanaz - on tv. I think he needs to stick with what he does best.
Poor David, I hope this was bone before Bones! He has a fine TV career but such an awful movie career! He's pretty good I find and he has a legion of fans so why doesn't he get better scripts sent his way?
"Mr. Fix-It is truely romantic and comical...a great date movie." -Eric Campos, Filmthreat Magazine
I went and read his entire review on this, and it got me wondering when did Filmthreat Magazine go all FilmNice Magazine. I remember when it first came out, it had a bit of an edge (or a bite) to it, and now... it reads like People Magazine. This dude loved this movie for real.

what's with his hair color?
This looks lame.
It's the weekend, so I am free to add all sorts of stuff without complaints.
What is today, horrible direct to video announcement day?! What is all this garbage?
