Is that Natalie Portman on the cover because it doesn't look like it. I heard this movie was really bad, it seemed to flop hard.

I heard it to, but this has Natalie in it so i'm buying it anyway.
I love the pathetically unimaginative tagline "Toys come to life." Oh really? Is that what happens in the movie? Okay, I still don't care.
This looked beyond terrible. I love Natalie Portman (her hair looks awful!) and enjoy watching Dustin Hoffman, but I seriously doubt I will check this out.
March 4...same day as 101 Dalmations: Platinum Edition.

From the trailer it looked like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory + Toys.
I still kinda wanna see it though...just cause Hoffman seemed so over-the-top weird (kind of like Depp's Wonka).

I haven't heard a single person I know of who liked this movie. And Natalie's hair and looks are terrible, at least on the cover. That boy-ish haircut doesn't help her one bit.
I'd like to explore Natalie Portman's Wonder Emporium...
pass for me.
It was average. Competent performances, but you've seen it all before and done better. Nat looks cute in it, but that's about it.
Looks a bit different compared to TOY STORY.
You know, this movie looks pretty bad. Where's August Rush? I would want that one instead.

It's coming, holmes. Current rumored release date is March 11th.

It wasn't bad, but it could've been better. The performances were good for the most part. I think the trouble with it was that, with a "G" rating, it gave off the impression of being a children's movie with living toys. However, that was merely the setting for a much more mature subplot and meaning. I saw it in theaters and parents took their kids to see it, who just weren't interested. However, I like Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman, and it was quite enjoyable.
Amazon shows this available on Blu-ray. So don't know if thats true or not.
I wish it was a different movie, maybe a bit darker, because I love the convoluted title and the people involved, I just wish it wasn't so vanilla...
OK, im going to defend this movie and say that its not for kids but more for adults. Its themes are much deeper than I thought they would ever be and the performances are fun. Seriously, see it just to see it, you might like it. Im picking it up.
I think it's a bit early to announce the release date of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.
This was a very sweet movie. I thought it tackled death etc quite well for kids to understand yet still maintain an adult audience.
I don´t think it achieved being a VERY good movie, sometimes I though it was trying too hard to be quirky, but overall, I was never bored and is worth watching on a quiet night in etc.

Thank you. I much rather get "August Rush" instead of "Bee Movie" and "Magorium" combined. Let's hope though.

I'd rather see Mr. Magorium's Sexual Emporium, personally.
they should have a quote at the bottom:
"we did it for the check"
-Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman
