My Life in Ruins (US - DVD R1 | BD RA)
Fox Home Entertainment announces DVD and Blu-ray releases of the film
Title: My Life in Ruins (IMDb)
Starring: Nia Vardalos
Released: 6th October 2009
SRP: $29.98 (DVD)
Further Details:
Fox Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($29.98) and Blu-ray ($39.99) releases of My Life in Ruins which stars Nia Vardalos. Each will be available to own from the 6th October. Extras will include an audio commentary with actress Nia Vardalos, Director Donald Petrie and writer Mike Reiss, a Everybody Loves Poupi featurette, deleted scenes, and an alternate ending.

Quote: Vardalos delivers a charming performance as Georgia, a recently laid-off — though anything but laid-back — history professor-turned-travel guide to a motley crew of hilariously crass tourists.
Georgia is fed up and ready to give up — until her new confidant Irv (Dreyfuss) opens her eyes and heart to a simple fact: There’s no finer way for a woman to find her kefi (a.k.a. mojo) than to lose herself in the arms of the “Greek god” (Alexis Georgoulis) who’s been hiding right under her nose!

So the ruins are her legs? So that's how they're attracting men to this movie! Skip.

Agreed! I will buy if I find a copy on BD for $10 or under.

I was 11 years old when I saw "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and enjoyed every moment. It still holds as a pretty good movie but I wouldn't necessarily call it an "instant classic." I will check this one out of Netflix.
Really wanted to see this but didn't get a chance too. Will buy.
I don't go by what critics say, so, I might netflix it.
I do find Nia Vardalos pretty charming, and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" is really one of my favorites. But I didn't hear good things about this so I'll wait to get it on DVD once it's under $10.
For an older lady Nia does not look bad.
What to expect from a movie when the trailer is a pain to watch? With this and 'I Hate Valentine's Day', it's more 'Her Career in Ruins'.
I have met Nia when she stayed in the Hotel I work for in Sydney, a few years ago. She's very lovely and approachable, unlike alot of the other Hollywood stars. I've been waiting to see this. This just came out a few weeks ago in theaters. Will pick this up on Blu Ray for sure!!
I wanted to see this, but her face is inexcusably photoshopped.
Nice legs !
A definite buy for me.
