def buy 4 me =) november will empty my wallet! =(
I want to see this, but Cameron Diaz always plays that same character. I want her to change up a little. You know transform to a different character, do something NEW! Her acting is NOT all that as well, she been in the business for almost 20 yrs. This like her other films, now she starring opposite Seth Rogan in The Green Hornet? I like here she just needs to do more serious stuff, into something more watchable.
This film was alright, the ending sucked though, they should have kept the original novel ending.
My mother wanted to see the film badly and I promised her I'd see it. So, I'll Netflix it. I do like that they used the theatrical artwork, rather than a cheap-terribly photoshopped one. I am disappointed in the extras. Plus are 2 Featurettes really going to get people to get a BD set up? I do have the BD set up, but just saying. Maybe if an extended cut was a BD exclusive, more people will be inclined to purchase the BD, especially since fans of the book were upset that the ending was changed.

I didn't even wanted to see it and I'm a male. My sister saw it and she hated it so much, she left during the movie.

"August Rush" was a mixture of sad and beautiful but it did had a lack of extras on the DVD.

Iffy about it. Such a downer like movie. Much like Revoultionary Road.

Heard this was ok. Might rent.
Wow, I definitely wanna have a digital copy of this one handy.
I wanna see it because the premise sounds interesting. It's playing at discount theaters around here. I'll check it out before it hits disc.

Saw this in the theatres and I LOVED IT!!!! A real tear-jerker. Everyone in the theatre was bawling!!! Watch it for the performances of Vasilieva and Breslin beleive it or not Diaz was not bad either. Cinematography was BEAUTIFUL in it as well.
Will purchase...once I have enough money.

A fantastic movie. Day one pick up, even with the poor extras.
Highres artwork added
Never got around to see this at the theatre, I think it's still playing here. Might catch it this weekend at last, since there's no new interesting film hits the theatre this weekend. Oh, nice Cover BTW.
I would tell you this. In terms of Abigail Breslin's films, I loved "Little Miss Sunshine" and I didn't think "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl" was that interesting. I didn't mind "Nim's Island," but I would rather watch that only once.
This looked beyond awful. Sick.

Looked good. I'll rent it.
This movie looked so heavy.
I'll check this out as a rental. I think this will eventually make it's way to the Lifetime cable network.
I almost didn't recognize her, but the sick sister is Sofia Vassilieva, who plays Ariel, the oldest daughter on Medium.

My sister thought this movie was TOO depressing that she and a friend left the theater. Honestly, who wants to get tortured through a movie about girl's whose struggling for life because her sister has cancer? I knew someone who lost a loved one from cancer.
Gimme a NIGHT! Gimme an AT! Gimme a THE! Gimme a MUSEUM! Gimme a BATTLE! Gimme an OF! Gimme another THE! Gimme a SMITHSONIAN! Put it all together and what am I still waiting for: NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN!

Really no interest in seeing this one. Just looks so depressing. Even if I was interested in it the lack of extras is a turn-off.
Whats the message behind the movie? "Cancer sucks, deal with it." A bad excuse for a film. I know it was based on the book but don't make a film out of it. Definite pass.
