I don't think I'll watch it, knowing of its poor reception from critics. It's not doing well with IMDb, too. I do have to wonder about the upcoming Scream 4, though.
This was supposed to be dreadful

Well I agree with the "HATED Inception" part more but I just heard this movie by name...NOTHING ELSE!!!

Yeh this was beyond terrible. I really tried to like it but couldnt and the acting wasn't just bad the characters were annoying
Can you say horrible? My god, I love Wes Craven to death ("Cursed" is a guilty pleasure) but this was third worst movie I saw in 2010.
This is literally the first five minutes of the movie (NON SPOILERS):
*We found out who the killer is
*He talks in a different voice
*He talks in a normal voice
*He stabs himself
*Wooden Acting insues
*More wooden acting insues
*Throw in a cheap jump scare or two
-More wooden acting
TITLE CARD: "MY SOUL TO TAKE".
Not to mention, the dialogue is horrid. Here are some examples:
"I eat danger for breakfast" (cheesy as hell)
"I felt like a hero" (the line delivery is so pathetic)
The 3D was c**p too. It was like watching a 2D movie with sunglasses.
Not only that but this movie was SO unnecessary confusing. No, this isn't "Molhallond Drive" or "Black Swan" confusing (in the good sense), this is just confusing in the most incoherent sense. Seriously, the move provides detail after detail without it coming together in the end. It's a very messy movie.
The fact that anyone can rate this movie a "6" or higher really boggles my mind. This movie wasn't just decent. It wasn't just bad. It was AWFUL.

I've heard mostly negative things about this movie, but a few friends saw it and said it was a fun slasher, so I might rent it just to make my own opinion.
A friend of mine LOVED this but HATED Inception. Not that there is anything wrong with having an opinion, but I found it odd that theirs was pretty much opposite everyone else thought.
this was bad but not as god awful as pretty much %98 of critics and regular moviegoers said it was. before i saw it, I was guilty of saying it looked terrible, it was but had some decent atmosphere and a spooky-ish-kinda-sorta setting (the creepy woods). and for some reason i thought the overly religious character Penelope (Zena Grey) was mesmerizing! lol. i want to see her in more projects. not one of Craven's better movies IMO but it's worth a rental (not so much a blind buy).
