A forced combo trailer... this I have to see. And no Reitman commentary? Disappointing.

This movie had its moments, but overall it was a bit of a mess. Typical dvd for a Fox movie in which the studio has little faith. Full Screen/Widescreen and some deleted scenes. I'm guessing the forced combo trailer is the Fox Ready,Set,Go thing that plays before the menu, in this case it'd highlight comedies. If so, that's pretty funny on Tom Woodward's part.
Nope, it's actually listed as a 'forced combo trailer'
I love the cover. I didn't get a chance to see the movie since it went away so fast
I loved this movie. I am mad that there's no slipcase.
wanted to see this, looks like a refreshing film.
I wanted to see this as well, I mught blind buy it, but if not I'll rent it. Too bad the DVD is pretty barebones.
PS- POST #300!!!

This looked highly unfunny and the poor reviews and weak box office numbers only seem to re-enforce my presumption. I wonder how much Dodge paid to get their logo on the cover of the DVD?
I've been wanting to see this forever.
Never got around to see ing this one in the theater. Looked funny though. Cover art is damn ugly.
i got to see this for free and it was very enjoyable fluff. def rent it if you are curious because there are some very good laughs, but overall its a bit corney. overall I enjoyed it.
Garbage. That's all I have to say.
Never gotta around to seeing this at the cinema, I love the artwork but I will rent first since this DVD is silm on "extras" and having never seen it, not worth the gamble on. I would classify this as a "must rent" for me when released!
I didn't find this movie all that funny. I wouldn't say it was bad either. I find the cover art is pretty neat.
God, Ivan Reitman, how low we have sunk. This looked like pure c**p, the trailer painted it like a Disney Chanel movie. And Uma Thurman, boy is she hit and miss with the movies she picks. This will wind up as a 2 for 15 deal at Best Buy soon, so they can uneivitably get rid of their largely unsold stock.
The shark joke really looked like pretty much the most misguided gag in...I dunno, any movie I've ever seen. It looked like this idea the filmmakers were trying to pull off as a totally ludicrous, out-there kind of joke but they really just couldn't make it work on any level.
The problem, from the trailers, seemed to be that the movie didn't have much of a focus. If Thurman's powers were a little more restrained and specific (seems like she can do anything), then perhaps the movie would have been a little funnier.
This is just my take from the awful trailer, though.

Well, it was better than that misguided Superman cr*p...
Definitely one of Reitman's weakest movies. The premise was decent enough. Was more like a made for Lifetime type of film than a theatrical release.
I had a dream in where I answered my door, and when I opened it there was Uma in that exact pose. Yummmmmmmmmmm, lol.
Good cover, very good. I really wanted to see this.

Uma does look nice in the movie. Though, never quite as nice as that cover pic (gotta love Photoshop).
In regard to slip covers, I'm indifferent on those. I like them if they are different from the cover, but if they are the same, whats the point? Also, some of them are hell to get on and off (my Office Space copy is a prime example). In my opinion, if they are just going to be the same as the case cover, save the money and put that into some swag or more extras on the actual disks!
