so the other release will only be a 2 disk set?
Nope, the movie-only one is a single disc...
single disk + a snapper...pass the gun please
re:
I'll pass. I'm not forking out $40 for a 3-disc set I'm not really interested in. And I hate snappers. So that rules out the single-disc A rental is probably all this movie will see from me.
Blockbuster + Previously Viewed = 3 Disc set for me for 10 bucks.
dvd
I'll drink to that.
finally!
Man, this took long enough.
there is no reason this film shouldnt be purchased. its only one amazing picture. 3 disc for me.

Blockbuster only PPVs rental DVDs. They only rent single disc versions (if there is a choice for a new release).
I.E. , they will never have a 3disc version as a PPV.

Penn, Robbins
Two of the most annoying actors in film. I don't care who liked it...I will pass.
Being a former Blockbuster employee for 2 1/2 years, I could tell you they abaolutely will NOT have the 3 disc set for rental so don't get your hopes up!
Anyways, Screw Warner Bros and their flippin' snap cases.

Yup, I guarentee that. Plus whats with people getting the 3 disc set if they havent even seen the movie yet? At least rent it first. These sorta sets are meant for die hard fans of the movie that want something that means a little bit more then a 2 hour time passer, its not really a casual purchase.

The Blockbuster where I live always gets in both sets... they had the Black Hawk Down set for sale previously viewed and that big Windtalkers set that was out. One of the workers said they get in a handful of the sets and then sell them all off when they stop renting.
Crap Cases
I hate Warner Bros. and their crappy SNAP CASES. I don't know why they just don't release everything like T3 and the Matrix sequels. I would rather spend the extra money and buy the 3 disc set and get the extras then buy a single disc snap case. Down with Warner Bros!
Three discset for me please. an absolute brilliant film should get a DVDrelease that mirrors it's excellence.
And for those who don't want the 2discset: UK
that one will be 2 disc as they never really manage to get the rights to put a soundtarck in there.

It's funny b/c Warner Bros. said they would only do a keep case for the "big" movies. I guess an academy award nominated film is not "big" to them! MORONS!! I hate to say this, but where's harvey wienstein when you need him!
I love film scores, I'll take it.
I think that the film is great. I love film scores too, I have about 20 of them. You people are lucky to have a DVD player and the ability to buy DVDs. Stop you're wining about snap cases.
I'll stop whining about snap cases when you learn how to spell.
Alright!
I saw this in theater and I loved it... 3 disc set sounds awesome!!! I'm definately gonna buy this... YEAH~
cool
i'm getting this... um its still in a snapper... not a good thing for me
i owned the single disc edition and i enjoyed very much, the twist at the end is terryfic... 6.5/10
