So, a complete waste of time then. Why no BD release?

Why the Twilight-esque box art?
I'll stick with the 2-Disc set that I bought a couple of years ago.

To sucker teenage girls into buying it. Why else?

Clearly they are trying to make it look like TWILIGHT. I don't really have a problem with that though. Whatever gets people to see it. It's the best vampire movie ever and deserves more exposure.
Anyway, I'll stick with my 2-Disc Special Edition.

I watched this movie as a kid. I don't remember much from it. Will probably be picking this up.
So, uh, who's the dude at the top?
Sure doesn't look like Adrian Pasdar...or anyone else actually in the movie.
What a shame. Fantastic movie.

oh god....
I can't wait until the teenage girls see this movie...
BAD, bad cover. I have the release from 5-6 years ago. That'll be fine till it comes out on Blu ray.
that is an absolutely horrible cover for a pretty decent movie. i agree with ahill_227, love to be a fly on the wall with the teenage girls duped by the cover start watching this bloodbath...heehee...
c'mon i almost s**t my pants expecting a blu ray WTF! i don't care if the cover had bill paxton nude on it aslong as it came out on blu ray. i love this movie.
so Anchor bay lost the rights to this?

Anchor Bay has pretty much lost the rights to everything that made them what they are today. Since Starz took over, just terrible releases from them...

Very Twilight-esque box indeed. This is one of my all time favorite movies but I have the double disc special edition....
Regarding the artwork: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahahahahahahahhhhhhhh--h-h-*...h!
Never seen this vampire movie. Can't be better than The Lost Boys.
Blu must be on it's way. Now how bout a release of Roman Polanski's Dance of the Vampires on blu, surely the funniest vampire film ever.

Great movie - but I think I will be keeping my fantastic double disc set...
