Title: MP610 Digital Projector
SRP: 675

Further Details

BenQ have announced the launch of two new projectors. The first is the MP610 which is marketed as a dual use projector in that it can be used in the office for presentations, or at home for movies. This 2000 lumen DLP projector features BenQ's latest Whisper Quiet design which means it runs at a low 25db which is apparently the same level as a human whisper. The projector has a native 4:3 aspect ratio in a resolution of 800 by 600 pixels. It will accept however signals from VGA (640 x 350) to SXGA (1280 x 1024). Costing 675 and weighing a portable 2.7kg whilst supporting a contrast ratio of 2000:1, the projector could be a way into the big screen world of projection DVD for many.

The PE7700 has been available for a couple of months now but it is BenQ's latest addition to their home cinema line so it seemed wise to include it here for completeness. Featuring a 16x9 aspect ratio this projector has a native resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels.
