Yup it was on A&E, I remember when it was still on the air with new episodes and I remember when every channel seemed to have it in syndication.
Now no stations carry it.
I loved the show and might get this but it's been so long and I have missed it but not terribly. I'd be happy if they just put it back on TV. (maybe it is and I don't know it!)

This was a terriffic show, but I dont think it hit its stide until marsha warfield and markie post showed up later. Also, with mono sound and not even 2.0 I'd be willing to bet the image has been untouched too and if I remember, the first season looks bad.
Wuhoo!!!
I can't wait. Dan rules!
"Legal Drama"?
If Night Court is "legal drama", what the hell is Law and Order?
Slapstick?
Slapstick?
My favorite sitcom, to this day.
Finally!
Finally!
"Legal drama"? I take it Night Court didn't make it to the UK.
It's about time! This is my favorite from the 80s. Hopefully they'll continue to release further seasons. I'm dying to see Brent Spiner's Bob Wheeler again.

Box Set
Hi - I see that all of these current season sets have a very low retail price. I belive once all seasons of Night Court get put out we will see a complete box set of the whole series. Warner Brothers has done the same thing in the past with Are You Being Served?, Keeping Up Appearances, and Coupling.

Original episodes or syndicated
Does anyone know if these will be the original broadcast versions of these episode or the shortened syndicated versions like ALF was?
Now this show was FUNNY!!

This is the only one of the new WB tv releases I'm interested in. Wish it was getting a better release.
These releases are getting worse - what a cr*ppy front cover (like the others) - and this was a good show
I believe Markie Post and Marsha Warfield showed up in Season 3 (there were 10 in all... finale was the week after Cosby Show finale if I remember correctly).
Kind of odd, the Selma and Selma connection.
"The bald guy" is Richard Moll - aka Bull. Great actor.
I met John Astin a couple years ago, (Buddy, Harry's dad), he was really sweet. I told him, "you were AMAZING as Edgar Allan Poe (also of Baltimore, MD), nice as Gomez Addamms, but my favorite performance of your was as "Buddy". He was genuinely surprised and humbled, and in his autograph, he signed "I'm feeling much better now!". It was very sweet, think he loved that character, too.
Also, don't we all just have a soft spot in our hearts for "The Velvet Fog" (Mel Torme) thanks to this show?

I would assume that since Warner is releasing this set that they will be the original broadcast versions since they were the producers of the show. ALF was licensed out to Lionsgate for DVD and they may not have had access to the original broadcasts, but there should be no reason Warner would have the same problem.

i really enjoyed this show, and I really like Harry Anderson, I think he's histerical, plus John Lara...larq...uh...you know who i mean and the bald guy, god i really loved this show.
Since i haven't seen it in such a long time i'll probably find it funnier now since i'm older (funny how that happens)...
I'll be sure to pick this one up
