Quote: A proud, born-and-bred Jersey girl, Stephanie (Heigl) has plenty of attitude, even if she's been out of work for the last six months and just lost her car to a debt collector. Desperate for some fast cash, she turns to her last resort: convincing her sleazy cousin to give her a job at his bail bonding company as a recovery agent. The plot twists as Stephanie takes on the company’s most notorious bail-jumper – former vice cop and murder suspect Joe Morelli (O’Mara) – the same Joe Morelli who happened to break her heart in high school. Nabbing Joe would be satisfying payback, and a hefty paycheck, but as Stephanie learns the ins and outs of the business from hunky colleague Ranger (Sunjata), she also realizes that the case against Joe isn't airtight. With a plethora of misadventures along the way, Stephanie's new job isn't nearly as easy as she thought.

Katherine Heigl will never make a good movie. I'm starting to believe it's in her nature.
count me in too guys. i just can't get interested in Heigl at all. she just turns me off of any movies/shows she's in and i really don't know why. she kinda DOES come across as shrewish. lol. i'm sure she's a nice lady but still....

I feel the same way. She even stated once that she hates "Knocked Up" as well.

i have several friends who watched this and REALLY liked it. it doesn't look like my thing but yeah, i hear it's pretty good.
Horrible adaptation of a favorite novel. Even worse cover art.
"she's looking for a few not-so-good men"... when it should read "she's looking for a valid script"...
That is one Scary Smile.
Looks lame, i will netflix just cause katherine is hot and MAYBE it could have its moments. Heigel really needs to take a long look at her career tho
