That was faster than a speeding bullet. This got released last month in limited theaters. Truly did not take sales as it was suppose to. As a matter of fact, I don't even think it captured any audience.

I'm so buying this
I hated this movie. The first Ong Bak was way better.
"never before seen footage from Ong-Bak 3"? Is that a typo or a sneak preview of the sequel Tony's working on?
I'll pick up the Blu-ray.

what cut of the movie is included on this?
perchance do you have the running time handy?

This one had some sick fights in it but the story was an absolute mess. Then again, all of his movies are like that. I still think Tom Yum Goong (The Protector) is the most entertaining Jaa movie by miles.
I loved The Protector. That needs a blu release. I am hoping to see this movie sometime within the next week.
I missed this in the theatres, since it ran for only a week. I loved the fights in Ong Bak and Tom Yum Goong so this should be enjoyable as well. Luckily, Ong Bak 2 makes it's TV premiere here this week, so I'll catch it then.
Will be buying on Blu-Ray. Missed in theaters.
The film's alright, worth another view. Wouldn't buy it despite the blu ray probably being kickass.

I'll pick up the Blu-ray.Ong Bak 3 is suppose to pick up right after the 2nd, so they're using some left over footage that didn't fit in the 2nd for the 3rd.

I haven't seen the sequel, but I gotta say, I didn't like Ong Bak. The action was great, but the stupid levels were overwhelming.
I prefer Chocolate. Yes, its still cheesy and pretty damn stupid, but not enough to detract from the action.

I thought Chocolate was more fun too.

Saw this in the theater. Thought it was okay, but still prefer the original Ong Back, Tom Yum Goong, and Chocolate. The main problem with Ong Bak 2 was too much of a reliance on Matrix-style effects and the story was too convoluted. I don't know if this was the result of letting Tony Jaa have too much creative control over the movie or what. I'll probably still get the Blu-ray though...
I spotted a couple bootleg copies at fye and Rasputins for $10 but I'm glad I paased that up. Will definitely pick up SE DVD or BD.
BTW, thats not a typo. Ong Bak 3 is supposedly filming as we speak and is a direct sequel to this.

hahaha Looks like I am not the only one that has heard about Ong Bak 3 on the way.
This film has some amazing fight scenes and definitely more money backing it then the first one. Still need to see Chocolate.

Mangolia thank you so much to add Spanish subtitles in both editions!
Chocolate was a sweet little movie, but I really didn't dig many of the fights until the last 15 minutes or so. The fighting on the side of the building was pretty freakin sweet.

His websarcasm annoys more then entertains and makes me wonder if that was all spam.
From further research that was indeed spam.

you're joking, right? i've been waiting two years for this movie. i remember seeing the trailer for it well over a year ago. it only had a "limited" release in america. it has been available on dvd in malasia/thailand for quite some time.
