I still feel the pain of its cancellation. Sony could've fought for it a little more harder than they did after ABC cancelled it.
Well it's good to see we will still get a DVD release! I too wish this could've gone on longer.
I wasn't surprised by the cancellation, there was just too much going on and you could tell they didn't know what direction to take. From the very beginning, it was all over the place and didn't know what it wanted to be....is a soap? a spy drama? a comedy? Ultimately the lack of a clear focus was the show's death.
Sony doesn't even bother releasing it on Blu-ray? Shows how much care and faith they had in the first place. Ah well, at least they'll release it.
Now...
When is the "Playboy Club" coming out?
I know they filmed a couple more episodes after it was axed, hoping to get picked up by a different network/cable channel.

Name one, if you're so smart.
Name one, if you're so smart.
It's on my list, Nightmare. Not everything has to be Grade A+. If that's your only criteria, then you're missing out on a lot of good (granted NOT great) titles out there.

Is it a "Mad Men" wanna be?
Yes.
Was it entertaining?
Yes.
Was it toned down for Network TV?
Yes.
Did that effect the watchablity?
No.

That's exactly what I said! If it wasn't for "Revenge" and "Once Upon A Time", I wouldn't be watching ABC this season or any other season, for that matter.
