The first was infinitely better and this was very disappointing in comparison, but I'll pick it up - if only to complete my collection. Until the third one comes out, of course...
LOVED this. I loved the first one too. Movies like this, Cloverfield and Blair Witch are polarizing - either love or hate. But I love. I've always been a fan of "what you can't see is scarier than what you can see." I rarely get scared in movies and there were a couple of scenes in this one that made me jump.
The first one was one of the funniest movies ever made, so I can't wait to check this one out. I just hope nothing happens to that dog.
Well that was fast.
I saw it at a packed midnight screening as I did with the first. This one also scared several audience members at moments. They kind of got me, too. I liked the film, even though it reminded me a lot of the first film, which I loved.

PA III was announced just after Halloween by Paramount - expect it in theaters Oct 2011. It's 'SAW' all over again...

AWFUL movie. part 1 was decent and had a sense of dread about it and somewhat likable characters. part 2 i was praying for the dad, mom and sister to die in the most horrible of ways. they were SO freaking annoying. the ONLY 2 i cared about was the adorable baby Hunter and the dog. lol. and i'm sorry but silence then BAAM! a jump scare back to silence, then annoying characters, then silence, then BAAM!! jump scare again and again and again isn't scary. it's annoying and a cheap "scare".
well this had way more chills then the first but i really dont like blair witch style movies not interested in buying it maybe if i see it for 3.99 at a video store ill give in
I actually really liked this one. Scarier than the first on the surface, but not when you think about it. Still, though, it's a thoroughly enjoyable horror flick, and I look foreward to seeing the alternate ending.
Wanted to see this, but seeing it on DVD would defeat the purpose. Pass.
This wasn't bad, but greatly disappointing compared to the first one. Nothing that bad, but definitely forgettable.
Loved the first and this. Saw this one at the early sneaks the night before it opened and had a blast. What a great atmosphere seeing this with a sold out audience. I ended up seeing this again too. Will rent it again and buy it when it's cheap.
