For all you Charlie Brown-loving blockheads out there, this is the one to have.....
hopefully this means that they will be releasing the rest of the specials in a similar fashion, there are so many more
the the cartoon series yet..........

So no extras and no thanksgiving huh?
Glad I DID buy the set of holiday titles...
Glad I DID buy the set of holiday titles...
"A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" was released in 1973 , it will be included in the 1970's collection to be released later this year.
I can't wait for Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown- but this is something I also need to pick up.
amazing, glad to buy it
Well this SUCKS! I hope this won't be the only way to get ahold of "He's Your Dog" and "It Was A Short Summer," because I have loyally bought all the Deluxe Editions so far. Does anyone know if this means the end of the individual releases (after "Snoopy's Reunion" in May)?
And where are all the featurettes that were on the deluxe editions? This collection feels a bit silly.

that's what i thought... there's still going to be a better set after that... or the only other way to get them all is to get F****ED by the WB

Okay, um, will there be a '70s' '80s, etc. collection, then this may be the start of a decent idea.
I hope they DO end up doing 70's-00's sets but the 70's, 80's and 00's had so many specials that they would need to be 4 disc sets.
I hope that they do but I'd miss the extras from the DEs....even though I have yet to get any of them. An odd thing considering I had all but two of the Paramount releases.

Nice set. Can't wait to add it to the collection.
What's the deal with the collectible packaging?

I guess this means the 1960s film "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" will be getting its own release.
The set looks great, and it wouldn't surprise me if the previous extras ended up being included. After all, it was only two featurettes.

Actually, if that film had been included on this set, it would have been a possible double dip for me for the other previously-released titles. I'm just dying for that movie (and the rest of the feature length Peanuts films) to get Remastered Deluxe Edition of its own!

Nice little set. Thank you, sir.
Hello All,
I feel that the next Charlie Brown Christmas that gets remastered or in a special set should have the full uncut version. There are still scenes like when Snoopy wraps Linus with his blanket and tosses him into a sign in the ice that reads "DANGER / Coca Cola". Also at the end of Hark the Angel Sings why not have the full song instead of fading out the chorus at the end. I feel cheated every time a dvd come's out without the above included. When they give the excuse that sponsorship branding prevents them from showing us the full version I can't except it because I have heard the end chorus without a voice over that says "merry christmas from your Coca-Cola bottler" and I have seen Linus get thrown into a sign that said "Danger" not Coca-Cola. It would be nice if Warner Bros takes these suggestion so that the collectors can have a original 1965 Version to add to there archive.
