What the hell? They better have a Zimmer featurette in one of those documentaries. At least Sony gave him his own featurette with Da Vinci Code. The music was a huge part of this film, damn them if they don't have a Zimmer featurette.
Yaaaaaar, tis the 2-disc fer me. It shivers me timbers and shakes me booty.
Is it me or the 2 disc looks like the Director's cut version of King Arthur???
why is the R2 not up yet? HMV have full specs
on a side note gore verbinski said that there should be a Trailer for Worlds end on this plus you can now pre order the movie on itunes as well 12.99
UK gets it first by 2 weeks. Sucks to be American, I guess.
nice silver border on the special edition... ok i'm joking, way to not try Disney.
Yarrrrrgh!
Sorry. That's really all I wanted to get in, aside from I shall definitely be picking this one up. Loved every minute of this flick.

I honestly didn't like this very much. Of course I did have a headache while watching it and felt like getting up and leaving several time so who knows that might have effected my judgment. I certainly didn't like the endless unfunny jokes in this. There was a few here and there. It started off great with Jack shooting the bird but after that not much and Keira Knightly was ten times as annoying in this as the last one. She's very beautiful but awfully annoying in this role. I'll definitely rent and rewatch to see how I feel the second time.
I didn't notice the commentary track the first time I read over this. Definitely will pick up the 2-disk. I hate that Gore and Johnny are not doing another commentary. The one they did for the first film was great.
Still no DTS and now, no At World's End preview?
gawd - just realised - "5.1 Enhanced Surround Sound" - isn't this a modern movie? Where is the DTS-ES sound???
This is one of the best movies of the year, however I wont buy the dvd and didn't bought the first one because i'll avoid the double dip and wait for the trilogy boxset.
Get rid of the number 2 on the SPINE!!!
The only complaint I have about both versions of the Dead Man's Chest DVDs is the number "2" on the Spine. Why is it there? Is it neccesary? I mean the synopsis alone probably on the back of the boxes when they come out are enough giveaways that it's the second film in the series. You don't need a number on the box, there's not a number "1" on the Black Pearl DVD box. GET RID OF IT!!!
DVD art is gawdawful. One I made is a helluva lot better, aye, it is.
It seems, like the previous film, that this will only be available in the Widescreen format. That means I can safely ask for this for Christmas.
I just picked up the two disc edition. The side of the case underneath the Pirates of the Caribbean name has a giant red 2. It looks rediculous. The front of the case doesn't even have it. Why slap a 2 on the side when you can see perfectly well that it's different from the first one.
This is a great movie.

Rent :p
