I wasn't a huge fan of the movie so I'll pass on this for BD.

Ugh, this movie sucked. I tried avoiding this one like the plague but ended up being forced to watch it with my boyfriend last year because it's one of his all-time favorite movies. It kinda makes me laugh now, because he's now my ex-boyfriend and he had been waiting for this release so he could upgrade from the DVD. Now that he's all moved out and long sold all the BD's he owned, he won't get to see how "truly awesome" (if you can even use those words to describe this tripe) this would have looked in hi-def.
One of the most underrated movies I've seen. It was an adrenaline-pumping experience from start to finish with top-notch performances and a great story. What else do you people want? The visuals were also terrific. I don't see any flaw in this film. I don't find it a perfect film as I've seen better, but I can't pick out any flaw character or plot-wise. May get the BD, the price looks reasonable.
I actually really liked this. I'll pick it up.
Anything with Kurt Russell is a buy for me, regardless if it's s**te like this (save for the Disney stuff).
Took Warner long enough to announce Poseidon for Blu-ray! Day one purchase for me!! Josh Lucas did such a great job with playing Gene Hackman's leadership role in the 1972 original!
While this movie didn't have a complex story, it had really nice visuals and acting, kinda like this past years 2012. I'll pick it up when somone is selling it for ten bucks on amazon, cause I know it'll look amazing on blu.
Nice. Hopefully the video encode is more than just an HD DVD port. But this Warner after all. Nice to see that they are at least continuing their DTS-HD Master Audio support!
Fun movie, got it on DVD. I've always had a fun time watching it. I may get it Blu if the price is right.
I know this isn't new artwork or anything, but man, Warner is really playing up the Perfect Storm angle with a nearly identical design concept. Still looks purty, though.
Jacinda Barrett is pretty hot, that's about it.
I am sure I read somewhere that Petersen was forced to remove quite a lot of the character development from the film in order to shorten the running time, what I don't know is if it was ever shot but if it was, it'd be good to see a director's cut of it in the same way he was allowed to do with Troy
So where is the extended cut? Or at least the deleted scenes that have been talked about?

And Emmy Rossum (who played Kurt Russell's daughter) and Mia Maestro too, for that matter.

Don't do it.
