Seriously.... 3D Predator? Wonder what the DNR looks like in 3D?

I'm hoping they did a new scan for this, but I doubt it. That would be the only saving grace as far as I'm concerned - a decent 2D version based on said scan. Unfortunately at the moment it looks like the 2D disc is only available as part of the expensive Predator head set.
Which means it probably will be the perfect transfer just to make it annoying.
The 3D process means that more will leap out at you than just the homoeroticism!
As kick-*rse a movie as it is, this particular element becomes more distracting as the years go by. The wife was introduced to Predator earlier this year, and when you're watching it with The Missus, every instance of possible double-entendre reveals itself as surely as a Predator's malfunctioning camouflage suit! "Strap this on your sore ass, Blaine..." says the annoying little git who ruined The Mandarin for a generation. OK, so they were bound by the "don't ask, don't tell" rule, but those rough, tough soldiers didn't have to over-compensate so much.
Let's hope they don't capitalise on the same concept they used for Spy Kids 4, and release Predator in Scratch n' Sniff...

Richard Chaves wrote and directed Iron Man 3?

Bugg*r - more Iron Horse than Iron Man! Was keeping an eye on the homoerotometer in case it was building up too much pressure to remember that it was Poncho rather than Hawkins who said it! If that thing builds up too much steam, it'll spurt everywhere and you'll be cleaning it out of every crack around here for weeks to come.
They probably should have let good ol' Jesse Ventura loose with Iron Man 3, at least it would have assured a decent quota of action to it rather than snickering rug-pulling.
In any case - let's hear it for the only classic Predator film, and if it takes a 3D makeover to get a properly handled 2D transfer, then consider the tinkering a bonus.

A mate of mine tells me the 3D and 2D are brand new transfers, scanned from 4K masters. Fox admitted they fouled up with the most recent release.
