I'm a fan of the movie, I own the DVD, but i'm not gonna get this on BD because if i'm gonna watch a movie in high definition I want an action packed summer blockbuster.

I don't think Julia Roberts turning tricks is something that needs to be seen in HD.
I really hate Julia Roberts and Richard Gere is annoying. So I am basically saying I love this movie. Pretty Woman is so edgy; a rich business man saves a prostitute. What will Hollywood come up with next?
My DVD of this is more than enough to keep me satisfied.
Forget 'Baraka' this is the new "Ultimate Reference Disc" for your Blu-ray player, I heard it was a 6K restoration.
This release is pointless. This is a chick flick and most chicks can care less about high definition.
Pretty wh*re...
Really can't stand this movie. It's lovely that perky Julia Roberts intills into little poppets that being a hooker isn't all bad. You'll look fabulous, pimps are no problem. STDs? Nah. It's all just a minor inconvenience because in the end, it is merely a stepping-stone to marrying a handsome rich guy.
It's a pity that this copy doesn't seem to come with an interview with Jennifer Jason Leigh, where she relates the experience of her screen-test. Garry Marshall wanted her to be "perky" after her 8th blow-job to businessmen on their lunch hour!
The movie plays like a TA recruitment campaign, where the images of snowboarding belies that it's a dangerous job from which you will probably end up dead.
Cynical? Nah!

I'll stick with buying the regular version, thanks.
This has been played to death on local TV - is it really even worth putting it out on BD?
I could swear I remember deleted scenes on a "special edition" of this..... I could be wrong.....? Anyone know?
Is there any reason why we cannot have the original theatrical version released on dvd which is 117 minutes and not the directors cut which is jarringly awful ?!
