They'll actually release two blu-ray editions; one with 2 discs and one with 3. The third disc is the digital copy disc, so you can now choose if you want this or not. The 2-disc set will sell for $34.95 while the 3-disc will go for $39.98.
I saw the first film but missed this in theaters. But curse digital copy!
It's about time they release this! After all of the summer movies I've seen, it feels like ages ago that I saw this in theaters. I'll definitely be picking up the 3-disc (or just putting it on my Christmas list!)
I deliberately missed this in theaters since the first one disappointed me greatly. I'll rent, I guess.
I'm definitely claiming this as a holiday gift.
I dont like the covers. Again - f**king digital copys are bulls**t
I liked this movie a lot. I hate Disney's covers, though, they're covered with Disney c**p, and now 'digital copy', too.
And so basically, 3-disc is the new 2-disc? NOT COOL. Now even though we're getting the same things as on a 2-disc, we have to pay for that stupid 3rd digital copy disc. What the hell!?!?!

Does anyone else find it weird Disney is NOT including the digital copy with the blu-ray and are with DVD? You can make your own digital copy of the DVD in about 30 minutes, who can do that with blu-ray?
This was better then the first one but not by much. You know an extended cut will be in the future.
I liked this pretty well, but I'm gonna go with the 1-disc. A commentary is all I need besides the film.
And that is some UGLYass artwork. It completely misses the tone of the film.

Didn't Amazon put the 3-Disc Blu-Ray up for preorder?
A darker (I liked the term well before TDK, so don't start), more mature movie (loved the "for Aslan" cheer from the mentally challenged bear!!)...I'll be passing this so that I can buy the 4-disc collector's edition, which will hopefully be released sometime mid 2009...good movie, really enjoyed it.
So I guess two-disc releases are all but extinct. What the hell?
Ugh...that damn digital copy is really getting on my nerves...actually, it's past that...I full out hate it...just another example that the executives just don't get it...
Really liked the first one, obsessively loved this one. Will def buy, but, only the 1 disc. Special features bore me.
I don't want to pay extra for a digital copy i am not going to use

They're actually releasing two separate editions of the film on Blu-Ray; one with the digital copy and one without, so you can choose which one you want. The digital copy is in SD and DVD format both on the 3-disc DVD and on the 3-disc Blu-Ray though, so you're right; there's no point to it. On the other hand, not that many people have Blu-ray drives in their computer.

I think maybe im actually waiting til bluray gets better art to actually invest in it... I look at the cover and go.. "whats the actual title of this movie again? Oh wait its not HD PICTURE AND SOUND SUPERIOR HD EXPERIENCE THE ULTIMATE BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!! ?"

Propably just a place holder, they do that more often. They should've used original poster art for the cover, this looks a little bit way too bright and the blue doesn't really fit.

I don't know. I still liked the first one better.
Ditto on the digital copy thing. Don't care for it.

Oh man, that cover art on the bottom is SO bad and what's with all the 3-disc versions now? Is the digital copy getting out of control or what?

Agreed, but why put them on discs, if the studios want digital copies so bad why dont they just make them downloadable online? Would leave us with a lot less headaches.

I will wait for the extended edition to go in line with the first one - although it was a bit long in itself. Maybe if they extend it they could make it more engaging??
The magic of Narnia returns? It was never there in the first place. I'm totally biased and will admit this but I prefer the books and loathe what Disney did. There should be a show called "Honestly Disney?" Bad bad cover art I mean honestly Disney. Hannah Montana, Honestly Disney? Digital Copies! Honestly Disney?
Prince Caspian was a turd, I can't think of a positive thing to say about it. Honestly Disney?

it seems to me, they are somehow forcing us to get the digital copy, we want 2-discs special edition with no digital copy, ok! here u go, 3-DISC (digital copy included) cant really choose, either u buy the single disc, or u pay for a stupid digital copy, most of us are not even gonna use! worthless!
about the movie, i have not seen it, i did like the first one, but somehow didnt want to catch this... i'll wait for its release

Prince Caspian is So MUCH BETTER than THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE !!!! i really liked that moving river...;P its an excelent JOB really

anyway enshalla i'll pick the single disc
I loved how much darker, epic and action-packed this film was over the first! It was a very entertaining time at the movies and I am very disappointed that not enough people went to go see it. I definitely enjoyed it more than Indiana Jones 4 and Iron Man. I will definitely be getting the 3-Disc edition although I don't know why they tampered with the great theatrical poster. The rearranged covers are OK but they should have just stuck with the poster the way it was, oh and I really am getting annoyed with these digitalcopy banners. Enough! and just list it on the bonus features list!
Prince Caspian was WAYYY better than LT**TW. Much darker, much more adventurous, much more adult. The movie is a bit long and can drag on but when you SEE the Epic battle at the end...you'll understand WHY you sat through all the things before. Plus the cinematography, the score and the costumes are great to look at. Maybe a buy for me, if i have the cash, but definetly a good movie!
I'll pass. Good movie, but my money is going for The Dark Knight on 12/12.

Still debating on buying this or waiting for the inevitable extended cut
